形容词的比较级(一)
1. 定义:表示将两个人或两个事物进行比较。
2. 比较级的常见句型结构:
(1)as+形容词原级+as。
e.g. I was as happy as John yesterday. 昨天我和约翰一样高兴。
(2)than 是标志词,还可以用 a lot,a little,a bit,even,still,any,much 等来修饰。
e.g. The subway is much faster than the bus. 地铁比公共汽车快得多。
(3)比较级+and+比较级。
e.g. Our city is becoming stronger and stronger.
我们的城市正变得越来越强大。
(4)the+比较级,the+比较级。
e.g. The harder you work,the better grades you will get.
你越努力,你将取得越好的成绩。
单音节和部分双音节单词的比较级
单音节词和部分双音节词 一般在词尾加-er tall-taller
high-higher
以字母e结尾的词加-r fine-finer
wide-wider
重读闭音节词且词尾只有一个辅音字母时,先双写该辅音字母,再加-er hot-hotter
big-bigger
以“辅音字母+y”结尾的双音节词,变“y” 为 “i”,再加-er lazy-lazier
