Ask Ss to read the comic strip after the tape and choose some of them to act it out. 1. Prepare some questions for Ss to answer: Would you like to help others (teachers/friends/family members) Present the pictures of Part A and discuss them with Ss. Ask Ss questions about what they get from these pictures. Ss read information given in Part A and finish exercise. Do C-E translations according to the content of six pictures. Play the tape of Part B and ask some questions related to it. Who’ll they help What’ll they do for the children Ss read Part B after the tape together. Ss use the conversation in Part B as a model and talk about what they can do in Helping Hands Club. Encourage several volunteers to act out the dialogue in class. Do some exercise. . Warm their brains and let them know we will learn how to get to the destination.
