Project
Write an e-mail to the person who has something wrong with his/her friend to give him/her some good suggestions.
Dig in
What should we do when we have a problem with friends.
First of all, we should keep calm. And try our best to avoid quarrel.
Try to talk to your friend in person.
Face-to-face communication is more effective.
Ask another friends for help.
If your friend doesn’t want to talk with you, you can ask someone else for help.
Reflect the problem and try to avoid the same kind of problem happened again.
三、语言点
I was traveling alone in the lonely mountain.I didn't feel lonely though I was alone.
我独自行走在荒凉的山里,虽孤身一人,但我并不感到寂寞。
She may need some time to cool down and think about the situation herself.
situation作可数名词,意为“情况、形势、局面、处境”,复数形式是situations。
e.g. We have never met this kind of situation before.
我们以前从没有遇到过这种情况。
But even if you’re not friends anymore, you should still be friendly.
作从属连词,引导让步状语从句,与even though 同义。
e.g. Even if we are very busy, we should spend some time doing exercise every day.
即使我们很忙,我们每天也应该花一些时间锻炼。
Say hi to her when you pass her in the hallway at school.
当你在学校的走廊里从她面前走过时,要和她打声招呼。
say hi to…意为“和……打招呼”,其中的hi可用hello替换。
e.g. Bill said hello to me when he saw me. 比尔一看到我就和我打招呼。
【拓展】类似句式还有:say goodbye to… 向……告别;say sorry to… 向……表示道歉;say thanks to…向……表示感谢;say no to…拒绝……;say yes to… 同意……
e.g. Why did you say thanks to her again 你为什么又向她表示感谢?
