Alan Robinson and Walter Macfarlane live in Oahu, Hawaii. They first met when they were in the sixth grade. Soon they became best friends. They stayed best friends for more than 60 years. Then, late last year, they found out they are something more.
Robinson and Macfarlane were born 15 months apart. Robinson was adopted (收养). Macfarlane never knew his father.
The two played on the high school football team together. They liked the same things, they looked alike, but they never thought they might be related.
Many years later, both men tried to learn more about their parents. They did so on their own.
