Let’s try：以Mike小表弟出生日期问答的对话内容，引出本课时关于生日时间的问答，出现了ninth(9th)的表述，教师可稍作讲解。Let’s talk：通过Chen Jie和Mike的对话，学习核心问答“When is your birthday ” “My birthday is on ...”要求学生能对10号以前的生日日期进行询问交流。
教学目标：
1. 能够用正确的语音、语调、意群朗读对话，并能进行角色表演。
2. 能在情境中运用“When is your birthday My birthday is on ...”交流生日日期

环 节 二Presentation （15min) Activity1 （1） 教学Let’s try 1. Let’s try 听录音，回答问题。 Activity2 新课呈现 Let’s talk (1) Watch and answer When is Mike’s birthday 教师核对答案Mike’s birthday is on April 4th. (2) 讲解both Mike’s birthday is on April 4th. Chen Jie’s mother’s birthday is on April 4th, too. We can have a party for both of them. (3) Read and answer 学生看书回答问题。 What will Chen Jie do for her mum on her mother’s birthday (4) 逐句跟读。 (5) 观看视频动画，男女生角色扮演。 Let’s try一般放在Let’s talk教学之前，可以检测学生对即将要学的核心句型的理解程度。 通过联系让学生深入了解文本的意思。
环节三Practice （12min) Activity1. Thinking map导图呈现课文对话内容。学生依据导图信息，复述对话中的主要问答。 2. Read and write Sam: When is your birthday Leo: My birthday is on March 1st. Sam: My birthday is on March 9th. Leo: We’re in the same month. Sam: What will you do Leo: I’ll go to the zoo with my parents this year. How about you Sam: I’ll have a birthday party at home. Please come then. Leo: Cool, I will. Activity2 . Read and write 1、学习序数词第6至第10的表达。 2. Choose and say (1) 课件示范：随机找两名学生翻牌子，然后进行对话问答； (2) 同桌问答：随机交换提前准备的词卡，并将交换后的词卡倒扣于桌子上，随机翻一张词卡，2人问答。 3. Role play (1) 完成课内P41的角色扮演练习； (2) 生日日期与节日相串联，编创对话。 此环节是对Let’s talk 部分的巩固，让学生更好地、灵活地运用所学语言。
环节四Homework（3min) 和你的小伙伴分角色朗读对话。 和你的小伙伴互相询问对方的生日日期。 作业
