高频考点：
What’s the matter with sb.
=What’s the problem with sb. /What’s the trouble with sb.
=What’s wrong with sb. wrong 是形容词，前面没有the.
2.疾病的通常表达方式有三种：
①I have a +疾病。
I have a cold / fever / cough / nosebleed. (注意：得流感是have the flu)
②I have a sore +身体部位。
I have a sore throat / back / neck / leg.
③I have a 身体部位+ache后缀
I have a stomachache / toothache / headache / backache.
3.lie
①v.躺，平躺 （不规则躺）
词形变化：lie - lay(过去式) -lain(过去分词)- lying (现在分词)
重点短语：lie down 躺下
②v.说谎 （规则说谎）
词形变化：lie-lied-lied 现在分词lying
重点短语：lie to sb. 对某人说谎
③ n.谎言 可数名词-lies
重点短语：tell a lie / tell lies
4.break
①v.打破 过去式 broke
短语：break the window 打破窗户 break the rule 打破规则
② n.间歇，休息
短语： have/take a break = have a rest 休息一会
6.hurt v.疼痛，受伤
词形转换：hurt - hurt (过去式) -hurt (过去分词)
重点短语： hurt oneself 伤到某人自己
7.off adv. & prep.
离开，不工作；从...去掉
off 系列短语：
get off 下车 put off 推迟 take off 脱掉，起飞
cut off 切除 set off 出发 turn off 关闭，关上
8.sick adj.生病的，有病的
词形转换sickness n.疾病
同义词 ill adj.生病的 词形转换 illness n.疾病
I feel ill. / I feel sick. 我感到不舒服。
区别： 一个生病的人 只能用 a sick man 不能用ill.
9.breathe v.呼吸
重点短语：have problems breathing 呼吸有困难
词形转换 breath n.呼吸
重点短语：take a (deep) breath 深呼吸 hold one’s breath 屏住呼吸
10.be used to 习惯于，适应于 = get used to
be/get used to +n./doing sth.
I am used to the weather here. 我已经习惯了这里的天气
He is used to walking to school. 他已经习惯了步行去学校。
区分于：
used to do 过去常常做某事，曾经....
used是use的过去式，发生于过去的事情，突出与现在的对比，现在不这么做了。
否定形式： didn't use to do 过去没有做...事
11.accident n.意外，事故
an accident 一场事故
词形转换
accidental adj.意外的 accidentally adv.意外地
重点短语：by accident 意外地 = accidentally
12.run out（of） 用完，用尽
过去式 ran out （of）
区分有没有of：of 后面要接宾语。
Time runs out. 时间用尽了，没有时间了。 = We run out of time.
短语结构：
run out ： sth. run out.
run out of ： sb. run out of sth.

不可数名词
词形转换： bleed v.流血 nosebleed n.鼻出血
例句：My nose is bleeding.
13.mean
① v.意思是
词形转换：
meaning n.意思 meaningful adj.有意义的 meaningless adj.无意义的
例句：What do you mean = What’s the meaning
② v.打算，意欲 过去式：meant
重点短语： mean to do 意欲做某事，打算做某事
= plan to do / decide to do /make a decision to do
14.get out of 从....出去
I want to get out of the house. of 后面要加宾语
反义词： get into 进入，陷入，参与
get into the house 进入房子 get into the war 陷入战争
get into trouble 陷入困境，惹上麻烦
15.importance n.重要性，重要
重点短语： the importance of sth. ...的重要性
词形转换： important adj.重要的
16.death n.死，死亡
词形转换：
①die v. 去世，死亡 过去式 died 现在分词dying
②dying adj.奄奄一息的 The dying man is poor.
③dead adj. 去世了的 be dead for一段时间 去世多长时间了
