课标要求 There is a subtheme of “literature, art and sports” included in the subject context of curriculum content, which raises a request for different traditional festivals and customs. (page15) It also raises a claim for the trait of thinking that students are required to acquire cultural knowledge, understand its connotation and be able to do the cross-cultural communication. (page6) According to the key competence requirements, cultural awareness is of great importance; there is also a need to convince them of the traditional culture to build up the relevant culture confidence. (page 4) It comes up with a clear requirement in the part of cultural knowledge which that students are supposed to introduce the traditional culture, including traditional festivals, customs, etc. (page32)
内容与学情分析 内容分析 It introduces those writings(2017,2018,2019,etc.)selected from the college entrance examinations, including topics of paper cutting, table manners, tea culture and so on, which emphasize the importance of daily study about traditional culture. Page 4-7 of the PPT is designed to guide students into a context where they have access to strengthen Spring Festival from various parts, including activities, the profound meaning, date, etc. Page8 focuses on the whole writing logic of a letter (title, body and signature), which is used to analyze the writing about Spring Festival in line with it accordingly, giving students a clear mind of this letter. Referring to students writing ability and skills, it is necessary to give a rough sketch of writing logic (show purpose of welcome, detailed information of Spring Festival, and the conclusion) and some references for students. After students practice, a sample is showed to help them polish their words and phrases. A mind map of Spring Festival is utilized to review this lesson.
学习重点 Be able to describe Spring Festival, especially those important words, phrases and sentences. To get the hang of the logic of writing a letter, especially the logic related to the specific content about the letter of introduction.
学习难点 Shape a logical thinking way of a introduction letter. To develop a sharper critical thinking way with the mind map of Spring Festival and review the foregoing content.
学情分析 For one thing, students are often have great difficulty in writing, and they also don’t have an awareness of accumulating more referring to a specific context; For another, the traditional culture is of greater importance recently. Considering the importance of traditional culture, there is a great necessity to guide students to write topic of it; taking students learning situation into consideration, the detail design is aimed at giving them clear instructions to help them learn smoothly and focus more on the logic, words, phrases, and sentences.
学习目标 By the end of this period, I will be able to 1. Learn more about Spring Festival and be able to describe it briefly with the analysis of it . 2. Have a better command of basic writing skills of introducing a traditional festival, especially related expressions, which lines in the foregoing analysis and the references on the PPT .

导入 新课 1.Show the writings of 2017 to 2019 specifically (paper cutting, table manners, tea culture, traditional clothing, Chinese art exhibition, etc.) Follow the teacher’s instructions closely and be aware of the importance of writing of the traditional culture. To show the importance and necessity of learning various traditional festivals, especially about Spring Festival in this lesson.
环节一 (guide students into the topic of Spring Festival) Guide students into the topic of writing a letter of Spring Festival and encourage students to do the brainstorm of various information related to Spring Festival, like date, activities, profound meaning, etc. 1.Follow the teacher’s instructions and get into the context of the letter, an introduction of Spring Festival. 2. Do the brainstorm actively and to get to know Spring Festival step by step. (1st day of the 1st lunar month; reunion dinner (dumplings…); set off firecrackers; give red envelops (WeChat red envelops); stick couplets) Give students specific tips of this context, and stimulate them to do brain storm of relevant activities of Spring Festival, like 1st day of the 1st lunar month; reunion dinner (dumplings…); set off firecrackers; give red envelops (WeChat red envelops);stick couplets.
环节二 ( to get the logic of a letter, and its detailed content) Take students to analyze the logic (title, body, and signature) of a letter, and further, get the information of introducing Spring Festival; the references in Chinese and English provide a clue for them to write by themselves, and the teacher will give specific instructions. Students should follow the teacher’s instructions closely to get the logic of this letter, and put what they have learnt into practice with the works completed by themselves. (It often falls on…; remind …of…; date back to; make preparations for; decorate…with…; celebrate; observe(庆祝)…) To get the hang of writing a letter with logical thinking way, and introduce Spring Festival according to the Chinese references (春节在每年的农历一月一号,是我们最重要的节日。这一天人们会…(4-5句)…).
环节三 (spend time polishing the works) A sample on the PPT for polishing students works. Spend time reorganizing the words and logic thinking in their compositions. To improve students writing skills and sharpen the logic in writing.
环节四 ( a mind map for in-depth ideas) A mind map about Spring Festival is showed. Time is for discussion to get new ideas and review the foregoing expressions of Spring Festival. To consolidate the relevant words and expressions of Spring Festival and enhance the critical thinking way by coming up with new trends of Spring Festival , like “We Chat envelops, the gala on net, travel celebration, etc.
