[命题点一]not only...but also...引起的倒装
●Not only did she discover radium, but also she won the Nobel prize twice in her lifetime.她不但发现了镭元素,而且她一生中获得过两次诺贝尔奖。
◎观察思考:1.Not only does she speak Spanish, but also she knows how to type.她不但会说西班牙语,还会打字。
2.Not only is he a teacher, but also he is a poet.他不仅是一位教师,而且是一位诗人。
3.Not only did he speak more correctly, but he spoke more easily.不仅他讲得更正确,也讲得更轻松。
◎用法总结: not only...but also...前后连接两个句子时,not only后的句子要用部分倒装,即将谓语动词的一部分(be动词/助动词/情态动词)放于主语的前面,但but also后的分句不用倒装。
拓展小知识:具有否定意义的副词位于句首时,句子通常采用部分倒装。这类的词常见的有hardly “几乎不”、never “从不”、seldom/rarely “很少”等。
