◎易错辨析:separate与divide
separate意为“分离;隔离”,把原来连在一起或靠近的各个部分隔开来的意思,被分隔的对象没有任何统一性,其后常接介词 from。例如:

We'd better separate the good ones from the bad ones. 我们最好把好的和坏的分开。
