Will it matter if you don’t have breakfast A short time ago, a test was given in the US. People of different ages, from 12 to 83, were asked to have a test. During the test, these people were given all kinds of breakfasts, and sometimes they got no breakfast at all. Scientists wanted to see how well their bodies worked when they had eaten different kinds of breakfasts.
The results show that if a person eats a right breakfast, he or she will work better than if he or she has no breakfast. If a student has fruit, eggs, bread and milk before going to school, he or she will learn more quickly and listen more carefully in class.
The result is opposite to what some people think. Having no breakfast will not help you lose weight(体重).This is because people become so hungry at noon that they eat too much for lunch. They will put on weight instead of losing it. You will lose more weight if you reduce your other meals.

六、七选五
World Sleep Day falls on 18th, March in 2022.It's a day to remind us of the importance of sleep for our health. However, not everyone knows how important it is to sleep in the dark. 31__
Researchers say sleeping with the light on could increase the risk of getting heart disease(心脏病)and diabetes(糖尿病).If we turn off the light when we sleep, it helps to keep away these diseases. The researchers also say that around 40 percent of people sleep with some kind of light. 32 They add that the worst thing to sleep with is the main light(主光源).Sleeping in the dark is more difficult for people who live in cities. 33__
The researchers are from Northwestern University in the USA. The lead researcher,Dr. Phyllis Zee, is an expert in sleep medicine. 34 Her team did a study of the blood sugar levels(血糖水平) of 20 people after nights of sleep.People who slept with a light on had higher blood sugar levels the next morning compared to those who slept in a dark environment. This is because light makes the brain active, which raises the blood sugar level. Dr. Zee said there are three things we can do to reduce the risk of illness. Firstly. turn off the lights. 35 Thirdly, use an eye mask(眼罩).
根据短文内容,从方框内所给的选项中选出能填入空白处的最佳选项。有两项多余。
Because there is a lot of light outside at night.
Secondly, never sleep with white or blue light.
Sleeping with a light on won't make your sleep worse.
Even light from a television could be harmful to our health.
She said it is healthier for us to turn off all lights when we sleep.
What's more, keep in mind that you are going to fall asleep right now.
G. A new report says sleeping with the light on could be bad for our health.
