(1)这是由what引导的宾语从句,其语序是陈述句语序。在含宾语从句的主从复合句中,当主句的时态为一般现在时时,宾语从句的时态根据实际情况决定;当主句的时态为一般过去时时,宾语从句用过去时的某种形式;当从句表示的自然现象、客观真理等时,其时态不受主句时态的影响。
例:The teacher told his students that light travels faster than sound.
