1. This is Jenny. It’s Laura here.
这两句为交际用语中的电话用语,在英语电话用语中常用This is …或者It’s…来介绍自己,询问对方则要用Who is that 或者Is that…speaking 来表示。
2.—What are you doing
—Not much.
本问句为现在进行时,意为“你正在做什么?”,Not much.在这里是简略回答,意为“没做什么”,常用于口语表达。
3. I am just washing my clothes.
本句为现在进行时,just是副词,意为“只是,恰好”,用在实义动词前,be动词后。
4. Do you want to join me for dinner
want意为“想要”, 后接动词不定式to do;结构join sb. for sth. 意为“因为某事加入某人”。
5. I’d love to.
I’d love to.经常用于礼貌地接受他人邀请,还可说成I’d like to.;当婉言拒绝他人邀请时,英语中多用I’d love to, but…或Sorry, I’m afraid I can’t, because…等。
6. Let’s meet at my home first.
let后接动词原形do;home与介词at搭配,意为“在家”;first在这里是副词,意为“首先”。

See you then.意为“再见”,告别用语。
