Period 5 (Section B 3a-Self Check)
设计说明
  本节课为读写课。在前几节听说课的基础上进行语言的输出。上课时首先通过填词、翻译短语并完成句子复习上节课的生词、短语,然后让学生在表格的帮助下复述2b的课文内容。通过3a、3b获得写作启示后,结合教师的指导,完成一篇写作。运用本单元所学知识和时态、句型介绍自己游览过的某个地方,达到学以致用的目的。
教学目标
  1. 知识目标
  (1)掌握单词:location。
  (2)通过完成Self Check中的练习题来全面复习本单元所学的主要内容。
  2. 能力目标
  (1)能够阅读有关旅游话题和介绍地方风土人情的文章。
  (2)能够综合运用所学知识来介绍自己的家乡或某一个曾经去过的地方。
  3. 情感目标
  (1)通过本单元的学习,培养热爱家乡的思想感情。
  (2)了解世界文化的多样性,建立跨文化意识。
重点难点
  1. 重点:
  能够综合运用各种时态及所给的提示词描述自己及他人去过的某个地方或经历。
  2. 难点:
  能够综合运用所学知识写自己熟悉的某个地方。

  多媒体课件,图片。
教学过程
  Step 1 Revision
  1. Choose the proper words from the box and complete the sentences.

  Step 2 Writing
  1. Fill in the blanks in 3a first. The answers will vary.
  2. Write a short passage. Use the sentences in 3b.
  3. Check them in pairs.
  4. Ask some students to read their passages.
  5. Ask several students to read their passages. If necessary,give some help and point out mistakes.(If some students can’t finish in class,they can finish writing it as homework after class.)
  Step 3 Practice
  Work on Exercise 1.
  Ask students to work in groups to think about the things below and write an answer for each one.
  Then let students check their answers and ask some students to read their answers.
  The answers will vary.
  Work on Exercise 2.
  1. Ask students to complete the conversation first.
  2. Ask a student to read his/her answers. Check them with the whole class.

  写这类作文时通常要用到一般过去时和现在完成时,有时也要用到一般现在时。具体怎样使用呢?
  谈论某人曾经到过某地或做过某事,用现在完成时;具体谈论经过,如:何时去的,做了什么等,要用一般过去时;在谈论某些事实时,则用一般现在时。
  根据提示完成下列题目:

Ⅰ. 1. C 由“In the past three years(在过去的三年里)”可知,用现在完成时,故选C。
2. A 形容词修饰somewhere或anywhere时,形容词要后置,可排除B、D两项;relaxing“令人放松的”,常修饰事物;relaxed“放松的”,常修饰人。故选A。
3. A  “have been in +地点名词”意为“待在某地”; “have been to +地点名词”意为“去过某地”;“have gone to +地点名词”意为“去了某地”。由句中的“for ten years”可知选A。
4. B 空格后的bird为可数名词单数,故用“such + a/an +形容词+可数名词单数”或“so +形容词+ a/an +可数名词单数”结构。故选B。
