Unit 1 I haven’t done much exercise since I got my computer.
设计说明 本单元学习就医的相关对话,由此引入学习for和since表示的时间状语。教学时先由图画引入谈论健康,接着用图画教学表示疾病的生词,并用对话“What’s wrong with... He/She has got a...”进行练习,接着引入教材的活动1和2;然后由听力入手,导入活动3学习对话,按“听—读—表演”的步骤推进教学;最后要求学生根据活动3进行角色表演。整个教学过程是按“由浅入深,先学后练,及时反馈”的原则进行设计的。 教学目标 1.知识目标: (1)学会本单元新单词及短语: cough, fever, headache, stomach, ache, toothache, ill, since, cold, take, health, stomach ache, catch a cold, take sb.’s temperature, fast food (2)正确使用现在完成时态中的for短语、since短语或since引导的时间状语从句 2.能力目标: (1)听懂疾病及症状的描述 (2)能谈论疾病及治疗方法 (3)能编写关于看病的对话 3.情感目标: 能听懂他人的看病经历,理解他人的喜怒哀乐;养成关心、帮助他人的良好品质 重点难点 重点:描述疾病和for/since用于表示时间的用法 难点:for+时间段,since+时间点 教学准备 PPT课件,活动2,3,5的录音 授课时数 2课时 教学过程 Step 1 Warming up Show the class some pictures and talk about them: T:What’s he T:What’s the girl doing Ss: He’s a doctor. Ss: She is seeing the doctor. T: What’s the man doing Ss: He’s running. T: Yes. He’s running for exercise. Do you often exercise Ss: Yes. T: Great! Exercise can keep you healthy. Or we’ll be ill. I’ve got a stomach ache and my head hurts. 我肚子疼而且我的头也疼。 have got a stomach ache 腹痛;胃痛 以“头痛”为例,常见的表达疾病方式有: I have got a headache. =My head hurts/aches. =I have a pain in my head. I had a terrible toothache last night, so I didn’t sleep well. 昨晚我的牙齿特别疼,所以没有睡好。 【拓展】身体部位名词+后缀-ache表示部位疼痛 tooth + ache = toothache (牙痛) head + ache = headache (头痛) back+ ache= backache(背痛) stomach+ ache = stomachache/ stomach ache(胃痛) ear+ ache= earache (耳朵痛) heart+ ache= heartache(心痛) 2. How long have you been like this 你这样多长时间了? 现在完成时的第二种用法: 表示过去已经开始,持续到现在,也许还会持续下去的动作或状态,可以和表示延续的时间状语连用, 如for, since 等引导的时间状语(注意:句中谓语动词要用延续性动词)。 He has taught English for five years. 他教英语5年了。 We have lived here since 2013.自从2013年我们就住在这里。 一段时间的表达方法有两种: (1)for+一段时间 如:for a year for two weeks for three years ①过去的某一时刻 如:since nine since last week (2)since+ ②一般过去时态的时间状语从句 如:since you came since you got home 3. That’s why you’ve got a stomach ache. 那就是你胃疼的原因。 本句是一个含有表语从句的复合句。That’s why…为常用句型,意为“那是……的原因”,强调结果,why引导表语从句。 Tom overslept this morning. That is why he was late for work. 汤姆今天早晨睡过头了。那就是他上班迟到的原因。 4. It can be very harmful to your health. 它可能对你的健康很有害。 be harmful to意为“对……有害”,其同义短语为do harm to和be bad for。 Smoking can do a lot of harm to your health. = Smoking is harmful to your health. = Smoking is bad for your health. 吸烟有害健康。 5. Take it three times a day. 一天吃三次药。 take 在此句中表示“吃”。 Take the medicine twice a day.每天吃两次药。 take还有其他意思: (1) 测定,量取 Let me take your temperature.让我量量你的体温。 (2) 带走;带上 Take the umbrella with you. It may rain this afternoon. 把伞带上,今天下午可能会下雨。 (3) 花费 It took him a lot of time to finish this task. 完成这项任务花了他很多时间。 Step 8 Practice 1. Finish Activity 4.
