设计说明 本单元是复习单元,主要复习and, but和or连接的并列复合句。借助于学生复述第二单元课文的机会,把其中and,but和or连接的并列复合句找出来,接着进行深化学习,并用教材活动1,2,3进行练习。此后的教学都是围绕着暑期学习展开。其中Around the world 内容简短,可设计成阅读理解。最后用活动9练习写作,用活动10、11练习口语。 教学目标 通过本单元的学习,让学生达成以下目标 1.知识目标: (1)复习巩固本模块所学的生词和短语 (2)复习巩固and, but和or连接的并列复合句 2.能力目标: 能就暑期学习与同学展开讨论,并能形成书面文字 3.情感目标: 能与他人分享自己的经历,也能感受他人的经历,互通有无,共同进步 重点难点 重点:本模块的重点生词和短语;and, but和or连接的并列复合句 难点:and, but和or连接的并列复合句 教学准备 PPT课件,活动7,8的录音 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Revision 1 Check the homework. Get some students to retell the passage in Unit 2. 2 Get the class to find out the compound sentences with and, but,or. We provide books, and we set tests every week to check your progress. But if you prefer, of course, you can stay in a hotel. You can choose to take trips to Hollywood, Disneyland or San Francisco, or you can go shopping. 3 Grammar 1.并列复合句的构成 简单句+并列连词+简单句 2.常见连词和前后简单句之间的关系 (1) and表示并列关系,通常不用翻译 I like bananas and my sister likes apples. 我喜欢香蕉,我姐姐喜欢苹果。 (2) or表示选择关系,意为“或者” You can go swimming with us, or you can stay at home. 你可以和我们一起去游泳,或者待在家里。 (3) but表示转折关系,意为“但是” My grandfather is over seventy years old, but he knows a lot about 5G. 我爷爷70多岁了,但他对5G了解很多。 Step 2 Joining (Activity 1) 1.Join the two parts of the sentences with and, but or or. The answers are: 1-and-b) 2-or-e) 3-or-f) 4-but-c) 5-and-a) 6-but-d) 2.Get the class to read the sentences. Step 3 Completing the passage(Activity 2) Complete the passage with and, but and or. The answers are:(1)and (2)and (3)or (4)but Step 4 Playing a game (Activity 3) Make sentences one by one using and, but or or. T starts a topic and says a sentence. One student goes on making a sentence with and, but or or. Then go on. If any student makes a mistake, he will start another topic and say a sentence. Then continue to add sentences. Step 5 Reading and completing(Activity 4) Get the class to read the advertisement and complete the sentences with the words or expression in the box. Then check them. Step 11 Discussion 1.Take part in your class discussion. Think about what you want to say and how you want to say it. Speak loudly and clearly so everyone can understand what you say. Listen politely to what the other students say and ask questions. 2.Work in pairs and write sentences describing the conclusions of the class discussion.
