1.Fish sleep with their eyes open.鱼睁着眼睛睡觉。
“with+名词+形容词/介词短语”在句中作状语.
We should sleep with windows open. 我们应该开着窗户睡觉。

2.Our eyes are the same size from birth.我们的眼睛与出生时一样大。
the same +名词=as +形容词+as 和......一样
the same size=as big/large as 和…...一样大
the same age =as old as 和......一样大
3.Our nose and ears never stop growing.我们的鼻子和耳朵从来没有停止生长。
stop doing sth.停止做某事 They stop playing games .他们停止玩游戏了。
stop to do sth.停下来去做另一件事情 stop to play games 停下来去玩游戏
4.The Sun is about 1,300,000 times larger than the Earth.
太阳约是地球的1,300,000倍大。
（1）the Sun,the Earth 表示天体时,首字母大写,表示一般意义的太阳和地球时则小写。
（2）time表示时间时不可数，而表示倍数和次数是可数名词。
数词+times+比较级+than...比...多少倍
5.There are no bones in the back of elephants’ feet-only fat.
在大象脚的后面没有骨头——只有脂肪。
（1）in/at the back of...在......后部/背部
（2）fat 作形容词，表示 “肥胖”，作不可数名词，表示“脂肪”。
