Language points
2.They like to eat bamboo and lie down all day long.

句中的long是副词，用在表示一段时间的名词之后，表强调。
all day long = the whole day 整天 all year/night long 整年/夜
3. Remember that they are dangerous.记住他们很危险。
(1) remember/forget to do sth. 记得/忘记要干某事（还未做）
Please remember to close the door. 请记得关门。
remember/forget doing sth. 记得/忘记干过某事（已做了）
I remember reading this book.我记得读过这本书。
(2) be dangerous (adj.) to对...危险 dangerous 反义词 safe
be in danger (n.) 处在危险中 danger 反义词 safety
4. Never go near them.千万不要走近他们。
never 相当于否定祈使句中的don’t.

当鸟儿唱歌时发出美妙的声音。
make beautiful sounds(n.) 制造美妙的声音
sound 可数名词，泛指来自大自然的一切声音。
sound 还可以作连系动词+adj.=系表结构
