设计说明
本课时以听说训练为主,借助教材图片、多媒体等方式,利用常见的班规、校规引出新的目标句型:祈使句。通过谈论一些班级或学校的规章制度创设情景,根据教学内容设计不同的情景任务,让学生在体验中学习。
教学目标
1. 知识目标:
(1)掌握单词和短语:rule,arrive,hallway,hall,dining,listen,fight,sorry;arrive late for,(be)on time,listen to...。
(2)掌握“Don’t +动词原形+其他. ”以及“We can’t/must...”等句型结构,并能谈论、描述学校里的规章制度。
2. 能力目标:
能谈论、描述学校里的规章制度。
3. 情感目标:
(1)体会在谈论校规、班规时,书面语言、教师语言和学生语言三者间的不同特点,增强语言的得体性意识。
(2)学习规章制度,规范自己的行为。

教学过程
Step 1 Warming up & Leading in
1. Ask the students what they usually do at school/in class/after school/after class/at home/on weekends.
2. Ask the students what they can do.
Model:T:Can you sing
S:Yes,I can.
T:Can you sing in class
S:No,I can’t.
T:Can you eat in class
S:No,I can’t.
Step 2 Presentation
Show the pictures to the students.
T:Nothing can be accomplished without norms or standards. So we have many rules at school. Now please look at the pictures. Which rules are these students breaking
Ss:Don’t arrive late for class.
T:Yes. We can’t arrive late for class. We must be on time...
Teach the new words and phrases:rule,arrive,hallway,hall,dining,listen,fight,sorry;arrive late for,(be) on time,listen to...(板书新单词、短语)
Step 3 Practice
1. In this procedure,the students will learn to talk about different school rules.
T:Look at the words on the blackboard.They are words about school rules.Please read them and answer the following questions:
What are the students doing in the pictures
Is it good for them to do that
What do you want to say to them
Help the students answer the questions. For example:
Don’t eat in class.
Don’t listen to music in class.
2. Let the students read all the rules in 1a aloud and help them know their meanings.
3. Translate the following phrases into English.
上课迟到arrive late for class
准时(be)on time
在走廊里in the hallway
在餐厅里in the dining hall
听音乐listen to music
在课堂上in class
4. Try to match the rules with the pictures in 1a.
Encourage the students to say something about the pictures and do the match work.

1. What rules are these students breaking Listen and write the numbers after the names in 1b.

3. Role-play the conversation in the picture in 1a and make conversations in pairs.
Step 5 Pair work
1. Look at 1c. Practice the conversation in pairs.
2. Ask the students to make more conversations with their partners.
Step 6 Practice
1. Translate the following sentences.
(1)不准在课堂上交谈。Don’t talk in class.
(2)不准在教室里打篮球。Don’t play basketball in the classroom.
(3)不准在教室里吃东西。Don’t eat in the classroom.
(4)不准在课堂上听音乐。Don’t listen to music in class.
(5)不准打架。Don’t fight.
(6)按时到校。Arrive at school on time.

3. Work in groups.
(1)初识祈使句
祈使句是表示命令、请求、劝告或征求对方意见等的一种句式,一般省略主语(you)。
①肯定祈使句一般以动词原形开头。
Open (open) the door.
②否定祈使句一般以“Don’t +动词原形”开头。
Don’t open (not open) the door.
(注意:以let开头的句子也是祈使句的一种)
(2)arrive late for相当于be late for,意为“因……而迟到”。其中arrive为不及物动词,意为“到达;抵达”,若表示“到达某地”用“arrive at/in+地点名词”,介词at后接小地点,in后接大地点。
He arrived yesterday. 他昨天到的。
When did you arrive in(到达) Beijing
I arrive at (到达) school at 7:00 every morning.
(3)on time按时,准时
You must go home on time(按时) after school.
(4)listen to music 听音乐
listen为不及物动词,单独使用可引起别人注意;若表示“听……”则用listen to,listen (to) 表示听的动作,若表示听的结果则用hear,意为“听到”。

听!你能听到什么(声音)吗?
I like listening to/to listen to the song.
我喜欢听这首歌。
(5)Don’t fight. 别打架。
fight为不及物动词,若表示“和某人打架”,则用fight with sb. 。
Don’t fight with your classmates.
别和你的同班同学打架。
Step 7 Summary

答案与解析:
Ⅰ. 1. B arrive late for class“上课迟到”;say sorry to sb. “向某人道歉”。句意:你如果上课迟到,必须向你的老师道歉。
2. B 根据答语“No way.(不行)”可知,此处表示“你必须完成你的家庭作业”,故选B。
3. B (be) on time“准时”。由句意“不要迟到。你一定要准时”可知,答案应选B。
4. A listen 为不及物动词,其后接宾语时,需加介词to,故选A。

3. A 结合句意“在亚洲一些学校,学生不能吸烟和大声说话”可知应选A。
4. B 由下文“They should wrap the covers of the books. ”可知此处指书,故选B。
5. C 本文讲述的是学校的一些规章制度,故此处应选C。
6. D must与should均为情态动词,后面接动词原形,排除B、C两项;have/has to意为“不得不”,主语是复数,故用have。

8. A clothes“衣服”;shirt“衬衫”;skirt“裙子”;cloth“布”。此处表示“他们认为校服是世界上最难看的衣服”,故选A项。
