设计说明
本课时仍以听说训练为主,能让学生听懂并描述学校的规章制度,重点学习情态动词can,must和have to的句型结构,通过模仿套用,增加熟练度;在课堂活动中注重设置情景,引导学生从感知到运用再到熟练掌握目标语言,并通过问答、合作交流、自评互评、游戏等教学方法,为学生创造更多体会语言的机会。
教学目标
1. 知识目标:
(1)掌握单词和短语:outside,wear,important,bring,uniform,quiet;have to。
(2)巩固祈使句的用法;学习情态动词can和can’t表达许可和禁止的用法;学习must和have to的用法。
2. 能力目标:
提高学生的听说能力,能用所给提示制订相关规则。
3. 情感目标:
遵守规章制度,培养学生良好的社会公德,提高自身素质,做一名合格的中学生。

Step 1 Revision & Warming up
1. Show the pictures to the students.

Step 2 Presentation
1. Learn the new words.
T:Please look at picture 1. The student is wearing the school uniform. What’s the meaning of the word “uniform”in Chinese
Ss:“制服”.
T:Good! What about “wear” in Chinese
Ss:“穿着”.
Teach the new words:uniform,wear,bring,player,important,quiet,outside. (板书新单词)
2. Make sentences.
T:Make up some sentences with the words wear,bring and quiet .
S1:We must wear the school uniform at school.
S2:Don’t bring CD players to school.
S3:Please be quiet in the library.
Step 3 Listening
1. Work on 2a.
Point to the rules in the chart in 2a. Let the students read them aloud and explain some questions that the students ask. Then ask the students to listen to the recording and check the activities they hear.
Play the recording again for the students to check the answers.

Step 6 Grammar Focus
Read the Grammar Focus on page 21,the grammar rules about Modal Verbs on pages 110-111 and the Imperative Sentences on page 119. Talk about the following questions:
1. 祈使句有什么特点?
祈使句的肯定式以动词原形开头,否定式以don’t加动词原形开头。“Don’t fight. ”是否定(肯定/否定)祈使句。Grammar Focus中还有“Don’t run in the hallways. ”是否定祈使句。
2. 情态动词的共同点有哪些?
①情态动词没有(有/没有)人称和数的变化。
②情态动词不能(能/不能)单独作谓语,其后必须跟动词原形。
③情态动词后可以(可以/不可以)直接加not构成否定形式,也可以(可以/不可以)直接提至句首构成一般疑问句。
3. can的用法
①can在本单元主要表示许可,意为“可以”。

我们可以在教室里吃东西吗?
—No,we can’t,but we can eat in the dining hall.
不,不行,但我们可以在餐厅里吃。
②can还可以表示请求,多用于疑问句。

③can表示能力,意为“能,会”。

4. have to与must的区别
①must表示主观看法,have to强调客观需要。
②它们的否定式含义不同:mustn’t表示禁止,意为“不准,决不能”;don’t/doesn’t have to表示“不需要;没必要”。
③must没有人称、数和时态的变化;have to有人称、数和时态的变化。
I have to (have to) finish the work today. He has to (have to) finish it,too.
—Must (必须) I finish it today
—No,you don’t have to (不需要). You can finish it tomorrow.
