Task
设计说明 首先和学生就本单元的相关话题进行交流,得出不同的志愿者可以帮助我们解决不同的问题的结论。接着呈现厨师、艺术家、工程师以及医生和护士的职责,为学生提前排除阅读课文的障碍。其次呈现课本上的通知,要求学生带着问题去阅读通知,然后分步解释每一则信息的内容。在这过程中让学生了解社区的每一个活动中心可以帮助人们解决实际生活中的不同问题,从而意识到邻里和睦相处是一种利人利己的美德。最后对文章的结构和语言点进行逐一的分析和梳理,以达到最后知识的输出——完成一篇和社区有关的文章。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握词汇:notice, information, below, better, anything, worry about, group。 2.能力目标 (1)能熟练运用本单元所学的词汇、词组和句型组织语言; (2)能够合理架构文章, 介绍社区开展的活动。 3.情感目标 传承与邻里和睦相处的优良品德。 重点难点 1.重点:能熟练运用本单元所学的词汇、词组和句型组织语言。 2.难点:合理架构文章,介绍社区开展的活动。 教学准备 PPT 课件;相关图片。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Warming up Have a free talk with students to review the reading. What are Simon’s neighbours like What meeting do Simon’s neighbours have at the community centre at the weekend If there is something wrong with Simon’s computer, what should he do Who can he ask for help if he has problems with his homework What can volunteers do for the old people Conclusion: Different volunteers can help us with different problems. Step 2 Presentation Present some different kinds of volunteers and their skills. a. A cook is good at cooking nice food for us. A cook knows a lot about how to cook nice food b.Artists are good at drawing pictures and designing things. They know a lot about styles and colours. c. If there is something wrong with our computers , computer engineers will help us check our computers and fix them. d.When we do not feel well(身体好的), doctors and nurses will make us feel better(更好). Step 3 Reading 1. Let’s learn more about Simon’s community centre. Read Simon’s notice and answer the question: When and where are they going to have a “helping hands” meeting 2.
