Reading
设计说明 首先通过自由对话复习有关小区的问题,设置最后一个问题对小区邻居的为人进行讨论,由此导入新课。将介绍小区的邻居作为铺垫,通过图片引入社区中心的作用以及他们的活动,并呈现相应的词汇等。志愿者帮助修理自行车、电脑之类的东西,帮助老人购物、理发,大学生志愿者则帮助学生学习等等,这一系列的活动激发人们对小区的热爱,使学生意识到邻里互帮互助的重要性。这一过程既是呈现单词的过程,也是展示整个课文内容的过程。然后通过读前活动、速读、细读、读后活动等,对对话进行充分的处理。然后设置Role-play环节,使学生能够完成语言的输出。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握词汇:helpful, volunteer, lucky, community, fix, skill, problem, something, someone, anyone, college, engineer, check, broken, help sb. with sth.,do some shopping。 掌握句型:Are they going to have a meeting this weekend I’m going to ask a computer engineer to check it. 2.能力目标 (1)能了解有关社区中心的知识;能用英语介绍社区中心的活动内容; (2)能建立邻里互帮互助的理念。 3.情感目标 在生活中和邻居要和睦相处,互帮互助。 重点难点 1.重点:能了解有关社区中心的知识。 2.难点:能用英语介绍社区中心的活动内容。 教学准备 PPT 课件;相关图片。 授课时数 2课时 教学过程 Step 1 Warming up Have a free talk with Ss. 1. Where do you live 2. How many buildings are there in your neighbourhood 3. What do you have around your neighbourhood 4. Do you like living there 5. Do you often help your neighbours 6. What are your neighbours like (What do you think of your neighbours ) Step 2 Reading 1.
