Unit 2 Neighbours
Reading
设计说明 首先通过自由对话复习有关小区的问题，设置最后一个问题对小区邻居的为人进行讨论，由此导入新课。将介绍小区的邻居作为铺垫，通过图片引入社区中心的作用以及他们的活动，并呈现相应的词汇等。志愿者帮助修理自行车、电脑之类的东西，帮助老人购物、理发，大学生志愿者则帮助学生学习等等，这一系列的活动激发人们对小区的热爱，使学生意识到邻里互帮互助的重要性。这一过程既是呈现单词的过程，也是展示整个课文内容的过程。然后通过读前活动、速读、细读、读后活动等，对对话进行充分的处理。然后设置Role-play环节，使学生能够完成语言的输出。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学，让学生达成以下目标： 1.知识目标 掌握词汇：helpful, volunteer, lucky, community, fix, skill, problem, something, someone, anyone, college, engineer, check, broken, help sb. with sth.,do some shopping。 掌握句型：Are they going to have a meeting this weekend I’m going to ask a computer engineer to check it. 2.能力目标 (1)能了解有关社区中心的知识;能用英语介绍社区中心的活动内容； (2)能建立邻里互帮互助的理念。 3.情感目标 在生活中和邻居要和睦相处，互帮互助。 重点难点 1.重点：能了解有关社区中心的知识。 2.难点：能用英语介绍社区中心的活动内容。 教学准备 PPT 课件；相关图片。 授课时数 2课时 教学过程 Step 1 Warming up Have a free talk with Ss. 1.
