设计说明 首先复习如何制定一个好的出游计划，引导学生去了解方向。接着呈现学生们的班级旅游地图，阅读地图和信息，找到正确的地点，帮助学生强化他们的方向感。其次运用生活中的常见的场所来帮助学生将方向感运用到实践中去。做好了充分的准备后，继续以班级旅游为情境对它的细节展开讨论，以便学生在生活中出游以及其他方面学会更好的制定计划。最后用Eddie 和Hobo讨论出游的对话来让学生知道在生活中找到正确的方向感是很重要的，它会帮助我们起到事半功倍的效果。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学，让学生达成以下目标： 1.知识目标 掌握词汇：follow, path, have to, north, west, south, east, trip, kilometre。 2.能力目标 (1)能认识有关地点和交通的图标； (2)能谈论出游和交通方式的话题;能辨别方位。 3.情感目标 树立正确的方向感，提高做事的效率。 重点难点 1.重点：能认识有关地点和交通的图标。 2.难点：能谈论出游和交通方式的话题；能辨别方位。 教学准备 PPT 课件；Comic strip的录音；Welcome to the unit B部分的录音；有关方位的图片。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Warming up Help students remember how to make a good plan for going out. where to go what to do when to meet where to meet how to go how long it takes... Step 2 Presentation 1. Present the directions. If you go out for a trip but you don’t know the way, what will you do You may ask someone for help, or use a map. 2. Present the class trip. Look at the map and the instructions below. Find the places they plan to visit. Then write the correct numbers in the boxes. Sunshine Zoo is north of Sunshine Middle school. Sunny Garden is west of the zoo. Lake Park is south of Sunny Garden. Sunshine Park is east of Lake Park. Answers: Sunshine Zoo 2 Sunny Garden 1 Lake Park 6 Sunshine Park 7 3. Step 4 Listening and acting 1. Present Simon and Daniel’s conversation about their class trip. Listen and answer some questions. (1) Where are they going for their class trip (2) Where is it (3) How will they get there Answers: (1)They’re going to Sunshine Zoo. (2)It’s north of the school, about 3 kilometres away. (3)They will get there by bus. 2. Practise the conversation in pairs and make up a new conversation. A: Where are you going for your trip B: I’m going to … A: Where’s … B: It’s … A: How will you get there B: I’ll get there by … 3. Act out the conversation in class. Step 5 Comic strip Eddie and Hobo want to go on a trip to a hill. 1. Listen to the recording and answer the question. Can they find their way Answer: No, they can’t. 2. Look at the pictures in Comic strip and read it. And then answer questions. (1)Where are Hobo and Eddie standing (2)How does Hobo go down the hill (3)What does the sign “Dogs this way” mean (4)Do they have to go up the hill again Answers: (1)On top of a hill. (2)Hobo jumps down. (3)Dogs should go along this way. (4)Yes, they do. 3. Recite and act out the dialogue in Comic strip. Step 5 Language points 1. Follow me, Eddie. 埃迪,跟着我。 follow sb. =come with sb. 跟随某人 2. Are you sure, Hobo 你确定吗，霍波？ be sure of/about sth. 确信某事 Are you sure of/about it 关于那件事你确信吗？ be sure to do sth.一定会做某事 It is sure to rain.肯定会下雨的。 be sure +that从句 确信…… I am sure that I am right.我确信我是正确的。 3.
