设计说明 本课时承接本单元Welcome to the unit的情境——到阳光动物园旅行,既复习了方位词,又导入了Reading。首先呈现阳光动物园的地图,让学生先熟悉大致的地点和位置,接着由学生浏览课文找出本次旅行要参观的几种动物以及它们的位置,然后正式开始动物园之行。呈现参观熊猫、狮子、鸟、猴子、长颈鹿和熊猫这些动物的路径和它们各自的习性,既呈现了Reading的单词和词组,学生也了解了课文的主要内容。在这样的基础上让学生完成Millie对动物们做的笔记,接着进一步完成课本上的判断正误的练习。在完成了对语言点的讲解之后,帮助学生总结课文中出现的指路的句子和表达方法,最后完成对整个课文的对话填空。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握词汇:everybody, straight, on, bamboo, all day long, along, road, king, remember, that, dangerous, sound, forest, funny, laugh, giraffe, quite, neck, leaf, north-east, bridge, cross。 掌握句子: Go straight on, and you’ll find the Panda House. Revise where Sunshine Zoo is to present the trip to the zoo. Step 2 Fast reading 1. Present the map of Sunshine Zoo to let Ss know where they are. 2. Look through the trip to the zoo and finish Part B1 on Page 45. Answers: (1) north (2) north (3) west (4) south (5) east (6) north-east 3. Start the trip. Ask students to practice the dialogue in pairs, then ask some pairs to act it out in front of the class. 3. Tell the students: Animals are our friends. Many animals are in danger (处于危险中). Go straight on, and you’ll find the Panda House. 一直向前走,你们就会发现熊猫园。 这里是“祈使句+and+陈述句”句型。and连接的两个分句间是一种顺承关系。前一分句表示一种条件或假设,相当于if条件状语从句,后一分句表示一种结果或推论。 Stand over there, and you’ll see the oil painting better. = If you stand over there, you’ll see the oil painting better. 站在那儿,你会更好地观看那幅油画。 2. They like to eat bamboo and lie down all day long. 它们喜欢吃竹子,而且整天躺在那儿。 句中的long是副词,用在表示一段时间的名词之后,表强调。 all day long = the whole day 整天 all year/night long 整年/夜 3. Birds make beautiful sounds when they sing. 当鸟儿唱歌时发出美妙的声音。 make beautiful sounds 发出美妙的声音 sound 可数名词,泛指来自大自然的一切声音。 sound 还可以作连系动词,意为“听起来”,后跟形容词作表语。 sound beautiful 听起来很不错 5. They jump around and make people laugh. 他们上蹿下跳,使人们大笑。 make sb. do sth. 使某人做某事 Don’t make him do too much homework.不要让他做太多的家庭作业。 6. They’re quite tall.它们相当高。 quite 副词,意为“相当”,此处修饰形容词tall,相当于very,quite tall = very tall很高。 在修饰名词时,quite a/an+形容词+可数名词单数=a very+形容词+可数名词单数。 quite an interesting film= a very interesting film一部很有趣的电影 7.
