设计说明 首先用和动物有关的话题和学生自由交流, 引入本节课内容。然后呈现课本听力材料中的动物, 通过听力训练让学生了解更多关于这些动物的知识, 并对此进行提问。与此同时, 为学生总结实用的听力技巧, 提高学生的听力技能。在学生掌握了完整的信息之后, 将所有的内容整理成文章, 让学生对听力内容有整体的把握。接着呈现Speak up 中令人惊讶的事情, 通过提问题的形式提升学生获取主要信息的能力。接下来, 呈现规则动词的过去式的读音规则, 并完成课本的相关读音练习, 让学生掌握动词过去式中-ed的发音。通过对语言知识点的讲解, 扫除学生的语言障碍。最后设置当堂练习, 检测学生的掌握情况。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学, 让学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标: 掌握词汇: snake, camel, ant, little, dry, without, be afraid of, not…any more, hear of, the other day, at the same time, 3-D, chalk。 2.能力目标: (1)能准确朗读动词过去式中-ed的发音; (2)能了解更多有关动物的知识; (3)能从听力材料中获取相关信息; (4)能用已掌握的信息把相关的文章意思表达完整; (5)学会对奇异的事物做出恰当的反应。 3.情感目标: 让学生懂得保护动物的重要性, 并树立爱护、保护动物的意识。 重点难点 1.重点: 能了解更多有关动物的知识;能从听力材料中获取相关信息;能用已掌握的信息把相关的文章意思表达完整;学会对奇异的事物做出恰当的反应。 2.难点: 能准确朗读动词过去式中-ed的发音。 教学准备 PPT 课件;活动A1、A2、Study skills的听力;相关图片。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Warming up Have a free talk. (1) Do you love animals (2) What animals do you like Why (3) What animals are you afraid of (4) How much do you know about them Step 2 Presentation 1. Present the pictures of these animals: giraffe, snake, camel, ant. a. b. c. d. 2. Listen to the conversation in A1 and put the pictures in the correct order. Listening skill 1: Listen carefully and grasp the key words. Answers: a.1 b.3 c.4 d.2 3. Suzy is afraid of animals. Mr Wu wants to help her. He is telling her some interesting things about animals. Listen to their conversation and help Suzy complete her notes. She is writing a thank-you letter to Mr Wu. Help her finish the letter. Use the notes in Part A2 on page 63 to help you. Dear Mr Wu, Thank you for your help. I know more about animals now. Some animals are really interesting. The giraffe has a very long neck, but I was surprised to know that there are (1)          in it. It is also amazing that a snake (2)           in cold winter. Many verbs in the simple past tense end in the letters -ed. There are three different ways of pronouncing this ending: /t/, /d/ and / d/. Read the following sentences. (1) I danced for half an hour yesterday. (2) I talked to my mother just now. (3) She stayed with me for one hour last night. (4) I visited the Great Wall at the age of 6.
