设计说明 首先复习句型“What can they do ”, 并利用其答语导入语法内容, 呈现图片, 学习一些短语, 并将其用于can和could中, 通过一系列的讲解和练习, 学习情态动词can, could和may的用法;通过呈现图片, 学习感叹句的用法, 结合实际的例子, 练习what和how在感叹句中的使用。讲解知识点, 最后通过练习来当堂巩固。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学, 让学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标: 掌握词汇: smoke, camera, X-ray, by the way, no problem。 2.能力目标: (1)能识别并理解如何使用can和could表示现在和过去的能力; (2)能识别并理解如何使用can, could和may表示许可。 (3)能用what和how引导感叹句表达强烈情感。 3.情感目标: 通过学习, 培养学生良好的个人品质, 正确看待自己的能力。 重点难点 1.重点: (1)理解can, could和may的用法; (2)理解what和how引导的感叹句。 2.难点: (1)正确使用can, could和may; (2)正确使用what和how引导的感叹句。 教学准备 PPT 课件;相关图片。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Revision Show them some pictures of sports and ask: What can they do Step 2 Presentation 1. Show them pictures and present the pattern can and could. (1) ride a horse She could not ride a horse at five. Now she can. (2) swim could not… now …can (3) fly a kite could not… now …can (4) row a boat could not… now …can (5) ride a bike could not… now …can Step 3 Grammar A 1. Explain the key points: (1) We use “can” or “could” to talk about ability. We use “can” to talk about present ability and use “could” to talk about ability in the past. I can (cannot /can’t ) swim. He could (could not /couldn’t ) dance in the past. (2) We use “can” “could” or “may” to ask for permission. a. can与could can 常用于口语中, 表示非正式的请求, 请求对象一般是家人或朋友。 — Can I borrow your bike, Millie — Of course. — Can I have some milk, Mum — Yes, you can. could是can的过去式。在口语中, could常用来代替can向对方更委婉地提出请求, 用法上比can正式, 可以用于向老师或长辈提出请求, 这时could不表示过去, 回答一般还是用can。 — Could I use your computer, please — Yes, you can. — Could I hand in my homework later, Mr Wang — No, you can’t. b. may may也可以用来征求对方意见, 意为“可以”, 相当于could, 用法也比can更正式, 更礼貌, 一般用于向陌生人或所尊敬的人请求许可。 — May I ask you a question — Yes, please. — May I come in, Miss Li — No, you may not. 2. Make a conversation in pairs like this A: Can/Could/May I … B: Yes, you can/may. 或Of course you can/may. 或Sorry, I’m afraid you can’t/may not. 3. Practise the usage of can, could, may. What important news it is! how引导的感叹句: (1) How + 形容词 (+ 主语 + 连系动词)! How heavy the rain is! (2) How + 副词 (+ 主语 + 行为动词)! How quickly the boy runs! 3.
