设计说明 首先以free talk 形式复习句式“What can you do ”“What abilities do you have ”, 然后用一系列的图片呈现生词, 导入新课。对于课文的阅读, 采用不同的阅读技巧展开, 根据图片猜测信息, 初读找出关键信息, 细读找寻细节等, 根据不同的任务引导学生逐步理解课文, 最后解决课文中的重要知识点, 为更好地掌握课文扫清障碍。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学, 让学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标: 掌握词汇: brave, save, smoke, badly, hurt, could, protect, rush, wet, burn, nod, careful, hurt, news, newspaper, match, rubbish, bin, save…from, next door, put out, in hospital。 2.能力目标: (1)能根据文体、标题和图片猜测语境; (2)能用英语描述火灾。 3.情感目标: 了解安全用火知识以及发生危险时的逃生方法。 重点难点 1.重点: 学习并掌握本课时的单词和短语, 理解文章大意, 掌握重要句型。 2.难点: 能用英语描述火灾情况, 并能表达小心用火的建议。 教学准备 PPT 课件;相关图片。 授课时数 2课时 教学过程 Step 1 Lead-in Free talk. When there is a fire, we should use the stairs instead of a lift. We can’t smoke in bed. When there is a fire, we should cover our bodies with wet blankets and rush out of the flat quickly. We can’t jump down from the building. Jumping may be more dangerous than the fire. Step 5 Language points 1. He went in and found his neighbour, the 79-year-old Mrs Sun, in the kitchen. 他进去发现他的邻居, 79岁的孙太太, 在厨房里。 79-year-old为复合形容词, 意为“79岁的”。复合形容词有以下特点: 一是构成复合形容词的各词间用连字符连接; 二是其中的名词要用单数形式; 三是复合形容词只能在句中作前置定语。 Tom is an eight-year-old boy. 汤姆是个八岁的男孩。 I have a two-meter-long ruler. 我有一把两米长的尺子。 4. Her left leg was badly hurt and she could not get out. 她的左腿伤得很重, 不能出去了。 hurt adj. 受伤的 If you are hurt, you should go to hospital. 你如果受伤, 就应该去医院。 【拓展】①hurt vt. 使受伤 Doing this may hurt you. 做这个会使你受伤。 ②hurt vi. 疼 My foot hurts. 我脚疼。 5. Then he rushed into the kitchen. 然后他冲进了厨房。 rush vi. 冲, 奔 rush into冲进 rush out of 从……冲出来 rush to do sth.赶忙做某事 It’s time for class. Tom rushed into the classroom. 上课时间到了, 汤姆冲进了教室。 6. Later some firemen came and put out the fire. 后来, 一些消防员来了, 把火扑灭了。 (1)fireman n. (pl. firemen)消防员 类似的还有: postman—postmen 邮递员 policeman—policemen警察 Englishman—Englishmen英国人 (2) put out 熄灭, 扑灭。为“动词+副词”型短语, 人称代词作宾语时, 应放在put和out之间。 The man tried his best to put out the fire. 那个人尽全力把火扑灭了。 Don’t smoke here. Put it out. 不许在这抽烟, 把它熄灭。(代词夹中间) 7.
