Task
设计说明 首先给学生展示一些关于宠物的图片, 并通过询问学生问题, 来复习关于宠物的相关词汇; 然后阅读短文, 通过回答问题、填写信息等, 理解文章, 并培养在写作中陈列事实性信息和观点的意识; 通过分段细读, 帮助学生赏析短文的遣词造句和段落结构, 最后通过给出短文的框架结构以及一些有用的表达, 让学生写关于宠物的文章。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学, 让学生达成以下目标: 1. 知识目标: 掌握词汇: basket, noisy。 2. 能力目标: 能写一篇有关自己最喜欢的宠物的文章。 3. 情感目标: 养成关心、爱护小动物的良好习惯。 重点难点 1. 重点: 能写一篇有关自己最喜欢的宠物的文章。 2. 难点: 学会在写作中陈列事实性信息和观点。 教学准备 PPT 课件; 相关图片。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Lead-in Show some pictures about pets and ask: What are they Step 2 Reading 1. Ask the students to read Para. 1 and answer: (1) What’s the cat’s name (2) How old is she Answers: (1) Its name is Poppy. (2) She is three years old. 2. Ask the students to read Para. 2 and fill in the blanks. fur(1) paws (爪子) (2) eyes(3) size(4)
Answers: (1) long and grey (2) white (3) green (4) small 3. Ask the students to read Paras 3-6, then fill in the blanks and answer the questions. Show some useful expressions. Review Unit 8. 当堂达标 书面表达 请写一篇不少于80词左右的短文, 介绍一下你最喜欢的宠物。开头和结尾已给出, 不计入总词数。 My pet’s name is I love my pet so much! One possible version: My pet’s name is Pedro. He is a parrot. Pedro has red, blue and yellow feathers and small, black eyes. He has a large beak and a very long tail. When I say hello to Pedro, he always tries to say hello back. He is quite noisy sometimes, especially when he is inside his cage. Pedro likes to eat seeds and nuts. He eats a lot and can be very messy. I have to feed Pedro every day and clean his cage. I always give him fresh water and sometimes a few grapes as a treat. I like watching Pedro play with his toys. It is fun to talk to him too. His favourite words are “Hello” and “lunchtime”.
