设计说明 首先接第一单元复习Simon梦想中的家和周围的设施,引入Simon现实中的家以及他周围的家庭,以这个导入本单元邻居的话题以及本版块各类人群的职业,呈现完这些内容后,学生就可以很轻松的完成课本上的练习,同时也为Amy和Simon的对话内容排除了理解障碍,帮助学生树立在生活中需要和邻居相处融洽的信念。接着在学生具备了一定的感情基础后,再来学习Eddie和Hobo的对话。最后将感情升华到一个好的邻居应该具备怎样的素质,才能创建一个和谐的邻里关系。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,让学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握词汇:neighbour, will, visitor, like, neighbourhood。 掌握句型:How many buildings are there in your neighbourhood? 2.能力目标 (1)能识别并掌握各种职业及工作场所的名称; (2)能用简单的英语谈论自己所居住的社区。 3.情感目标 学会与邻居和谐相处。 重点难点 1.重点:能识别并掌握各种职业及工作场所的名称。 2.难点:能用简单的英语谈论自己所居住的社区。 教学准备 PPT 课件;相关图片;活动B的音频。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Warming up Revise something about Simon’s dream home in Unit 1. 1. Where is Simon’s dream home 2. What does he have around his dream home Answers: 1. It is at the foot of a hill. 2. There is a football field behind his house and a swimming pool beside it. Step 2 Presentation Introduce “Simon lives in a flat in City Garden in Sunshine Town.” Then introduce Simon’s neighbours one by one. Lin Tao’s family live above him.(Lin Tao: a student at Sunshine Middle School; his father: an English teacher at Sunshine Middle School; his mother: an office worker in a company) Li Lei’s family live above him, too. (Li Lei: a student at Sunshine Middle School; his father: a doctor at Sunshine Hospital; his mother: a nurse at Sunshine Hospital) Yang Lin’s family live next to him. (Yang Lin: a student at Sunshine Middle School; her father: a cook at Sunshine Restaurant; her mother: a manager at Sunshine Restaurant; her elder brother: a waiter at Sunshine Restaurant) Mr. Zhang and Mr. Wang share a flat and live below him. (Mr Zhang: a policeman in the police station; Mr. Wang: a postman in the post office) Step 3 Practice 1. Ask and answer about people’s jobs and their working places with the pictures.
