Lesson 35: The Dream Team
设计说明 首先讲解并巩固练习生词,为后面的学习做好铺垫。通过图片展示和提问中国的梦之队,激发学生对本课的学习兴趣,同时可以检测学生的课外积累情况,引出本课节的话题The dream team(梦之队),引入教材THINK ABOUT IT的学习。拓展学生的思维,让学生说出除了刚才图片中的梦之队,还有哪些。然后,通过播放录音,初步了解不同国家的梦之队,并通过听课文完成思维导图,判断正误,回答问题;精读短文。利用Let’s Do It!中的练习题对文章内容进行巩固。由听、说、读的训练过渡到写的训练。最后小组活动表演并猜一猜,增强英语课堂的趣味性。本课节从多个角度、多种形式上对本课的语言知识进行练习,并培养学生的各项能力,从而实现教学目标。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握单词:gold, influence, coach 接触单词:defeat, medal, Brazil, diving, badminton 短语和句型:dream team, have an influence on, time after time, do one’s best; They had a great influence on people everywhere—not just in the Olympic Games. 2.能力目标 (1)掌握并本课节的重点单词和短语; (2)运用所学的知识介绍自己所了解的梦之队的情况。 3.情感目标 了解各国梦之队的相关信息,并学习运动员努力拼搏、团结合作的精神。 重点难点 1.重点:掌握一些与介绍梦之队有关的词汇; 2.难点:运用所学的知识介绍自己所了解的梦之队的情况。 教学准备 PPT 课件;本课节用到的录音。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 New words In this lesson we are going to learn something about “The Dream Team”.
