Lesson 45: Let’s Sort Garbage!
设计说明 首先出示图片,引出本课的话题Let’s Sort Garbage!(让我们一起来垃圾分类),引入教材Think about it的学习。然后带领学生一同学习本节课的生词。再播放录音,通过听录音和阅读对话回答问题,让学生理解对话大意,初步了解Jenny和Danny之间的对话,并通过听对话掌握单词的发音;接着,读本课。利用Let’s Do It!中的练习题对本课内容进行巩固。最后,进行综合训练,检验学生掌握的情况。本节课从多个角度、多种形式对本课的语言知识进行练习,从而达到教学目的,实现教学目标。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握单词:empty, litter 接触单词:sort, metal, plastic, recycle, amount 短语和句型:do with, be made into; People throw too much away. It is a waste to use paper only on one side. 2.能力目标 (1)听懂有关垃圾分类的介绍, 了解垃圾分类的重要性。 (2)在口语表达中可以正确地表达与环保相关的内容。 3.情感目标 在本课教学中注重学生环保意识的培养,培养学生在日常生活中从小事做起,从自身做起,过低碳生活,保护环境。 重点难点 1.重点:与垃圾相关的词汇与词组的正确使用。 2.难点:运用所学知识介绍自己掌握到的关于垃圾分类的情况。 教学准备 PPT 课件;本课节用到的录音 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Leading in Show some pictures about sorting garbage. Let the students answer the following questions: T: Hello, boys and girls. What are they Ss: They are dustbins/ garbage cans. T: What do you do with your garbage S1: Throw away. S2: Sort garbage. S3: Reuse garbage. T: Why do you do this Ss: Protect the environment. T: What kinds of things can be recycled and reused S4: Paper. S5: Plastic things. Discuss the questions in groups. Ask the students to talk for three minutes. Then let them present their talk in class. Sort the Garbage Go for a walk around your neighbourhood. Take a bag with you and pick up any garbage you see. Wear gloves because garbage is dirty. Bring the garbage to school. Don’t throw it away! People throw too much away. 人们扔掉的太多。 辨析: too much, too many与much too too much太多,修饰不可数名词或修饰比较级,含有“过分,难以接受”之意。too many太多,修饰复数可数名词。much too太……,修饰形容词或副词的原级。
