Lesson 46: Protect Our Environment
设计说明 首先老师出示一些有关环境污染的图片,引出本课的话题Protect Our Environment(保护我们的环境),引入教材Think about it的学习。然后,教授新单词,为课文学习扫清障碍。播放录音,完成Let’s Do It!第1题的练习,帮助学生理解课文大意。细读课文,回答问题,帮助学生抓住文章细节内容。利用Let’s Do It!2题和3题中的练习,训练学生的口语表达能力。最后,完成课堂达标检测题。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握单词:truck, factory 接触单词:leak, tap, beer, recycling, unlike 短语和句型:turn off, pick up, take short showers, make sure, again and again; We use them again and again, or we put other garbage in them. I ride my bike to school every day. Unlike other types of transportation, a bike doesn’t make any pollution. In fact, if each of us makes a small change in our life,we can make a big difference to our environment. 2.能力目标 能够运用所学语言谈论环境污染的状况以及如何保护环境。 3.情感目标 培养学生在交流中认识保护环境的重要性,以及如何保护环境,知道在日常生活中应该做什么,不应该做什么。 重点难点 1. 重点:本课节重点单词、短语和句型。 2. 难点:能够运用所学语言谈论环境污染的状况以及如何保护环境。 教学准备 PPT 课件;本课节用到的音频文件 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Lead-in T: Look at the four pictures. What can you see from them water pollution air pollution noise pollution S1: There is lots of pollution. T: How do you feel S2: I feel angry. S3: I feel sad. ... T: Our environment is becoming worse and worse. So we need to protect it. But what can you do to protect our environment Today we’ll learn about this. Step 2 Thinking about it ·Is your hometown clean enough ·Do you have any ideas for reducing waste reuse plastic bags sort garbage at home take short showers ride bikes or take buses Step 3 New words T: In this lesson we are going to learn some sentences about “Protect Our Environment”. At first let’s learn the new words: truck, factory, leak, tap, beer, recycling, unlike. We sort our pop cans, beer bottles and waste paper. A truck picks up our recycling every week. 3. Cars and factories. 4. She rides her bike. Because a bike is unlike other types of transportation, it doesn’t make any pollution. Step 6 Practice Compare the two pictures. Unlike other types of transportation, a bike doesn’t make any pollution. 自行车不像其他类型的交通工具,它不产生任何污染。 unlike介词,不像。 Unlike her mother, she doesn’t like watching TV. 不像她妈妈,她不喜欢看电视。 4. In fact, if each of us makes a small change in our life,we can make a big difference to our environment. 事实上,如果我们每个人在生活中改变一点点,我们就能对环境产生很大影响。 (1) make a change 意思是“做改动,改变”。 Can I make a change in my reservation 我能改变预约吗? I think we need to make a change.我觉得我们需要做出改变。 (2) make a difference意为“有影响;起(重要)作用”。 As teachers, you must believe that you can make a difference to the lives of your students.身为教师,你们必须坚信你们能够影响学生的一生。 Step 10 Summary 1.
