Lesson 47: Connected to Nature
设计说明 首先老师通过描述自然界的所有事物都是紧密相连的以及每种生物的重要性来引出本课的话题Connected to Nature(连接大自然),然后引入教材Think about it的学习。教授新单词和短语,完成Let’s Do It! 2题的词汇训练,为后面的课文学习扫清障碍。再通过听课文音频,完成Let’s Do It! 1题中的练习;接着,读课文,回答相关问题。完成Let’s Do It! 3题的拓展阅读。对课文中的重、难知识点进行讲解。最后,完成当堂达标检测题目。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,学生达成以下目标: 1.知识目标 掌握单词:ant, die, dead 接触单词:bee, dove, species, respect 短语:start out, live off, die off 2.能力目标 (1)掌握一些与大自然有关的词汇和重点句子; (2)听懂关于环境问题的描述,并表达自己的观点,参与讨论。 3.情感目标 通过本课节的学习,使学生了解星球上的生物间相互依存的因果关系,培养学生对大自然、对地球和地球上的生物的热爱,开阔视野,培养责任感。 重点难点 1.重点:掌握本课节的词汇和重点句型。 2.难点:运用所学知识谈论能为大自然做些什么。 教学准备 PPT 课件;本课节用到的音频文件 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Lead-in T: As we all know everything is connected to each other in nature. If one has anything wrong,some bad things will also happen to another. Do you want to know more about how everything is connected Today let’s learn more about it. The sky was blue. Birds sang from morning until night.      But later, people cut down the trees in the forests, killed the animals and built factories and buildings.      People’s houses were buried by soil in floods. Some animals lost their homes, and they attacked people. Some factories polluted the air, water and people’s food. The earth is getting warmer. Some scientists say the sea level will rise by at least 1 metre in the next 100 years.      People are now living in a worse and worse environment. Living things start out weak and small and slowly grow strong and big. 生物开始很弱小,慢慢地长大,变强壮。 start out意为“启程,出发,开始/着手做”。 We started out by preparing for the sports meeting. 我们通过为运动会做准备开始的。 3. If we pollute the rivers and oceans, fish may get sick or even die. 如果我们污染了河流和海洋,鱼类会生病,甚至会死亡。 (1) 辨析: sick 与 ill ①sick 形容词,生病的,不舒服的,在句中既可作表语,也可作定语。 The sick girl asked for a day’s leave.那个生病的女孩请了一天的假。 ②ill形容词,生病的。作此意讲时,在句中只能作表语。 He is seriously ill and unlikely to recover.他病得非常厉害,不大可能康复了。 (2)die动词,死,为非延续性动词,不与时间段连用。其过去式为died,现在分词为dying,名词形式为death。 His grandfather died two years ago.他的祖父两年前去世了。 His cat’s death made him sad.他的猫的死让他很伤心。 【拓展】常用短语:die of/ from死于; die off 相继死去,灭绝;die out灭绝。 4.
