as...as…意为“和……一样……”,表示同级比较。
使用时要注意第一个as为副词,第二个as为连词。
其基本结构为:as+ adj./ adv. +as。

not...until… 意为“直到……才…….”表示直到某一时间,某一行为才发生。句子(主句)中的谓语可以是延续性动词也可以是非延续性动词。
until 意为 “直到……为止”,表示某一种行为一直持续到某一时间。必须与延续性动词连用。
I studied English until 9 o’clock last night.
我昨晚学英语一直学到9点钟。 (表示9点前一直在学)
I did not study English until 9 o’clock last night. 我昨晚直到9点钟才学英语。 (表示9点才开始学)
