Lesson 23: The Internet—Good or Bad
设计说明 首先, 自由交谈有关互联网的话题，导入新课。展示本课生词短语，可以借助图片、例句等来学习，让学生在具体情境中感悟用法。打好语言基础后，开始新课学习。设置活动，让学生读课文判断正误、读课文梳理互联网优缺点以及读课文找出各段中心句。通过这些活动，教会学生整体把握课文，并能注意辨别细节信息。接下来，设置听力活动，为学生提供锻炼英语听力能力的机会。另外，借助听力材料，也可以进一步了解互联网。在以上学习的基础上，学生基本能够对互联网有较科学的认识。因此，接下来设置自主活动，让学生勾出初中生可以在互联网上做的事情，并陈述理由。最后，对重点知识进行总结，适当点拨讲解重难点，并进行课堂练习。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学，学生达成以下目标： 1.知识目标 掌握词汇：advantage, simple, coin, cause, less, steal 接触词汇：disadvantage, aside, attack, web, banking, properly 短语和句型：in seconds, far away, aside from, take up However, the Internet has advantages and disadvantages. And if a friend lives far away, the Internet makes it easy to stay in touch. Every coin has two sides. It may even cause them to be less social with family and friends.
