Lesson 26: Cookies, Please!
设计说明 首先,老师通过回顾上节课内容,引出本课时的话题how they sell things(他们如何售卖东西),利用图片呈现本课的词汇cheap, pocket, tie, desk-cycle, cent, while, afford。掌握词汇后,学生进行进一步的巩固练习。引入教材THINK ABOUT IT的学习。然后,通过播放录音,初步了解Brian和Danny是如何推销自己的产品的,并通过听对话回答问题;接着读短文,利用Let’s Do It!中的练习题对文章内容进行巩固。最后,利用第3题做笔头练习,由听、说、读的训练过渡到写的训练。本节课从多个角度、多种形式对本课的语言知识进行练习,从而达到教学目的,实现教学目标。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学,学生达成以下目标: 1. 知识目标 掌握单词: cheap, pocket, tie, while, afford, cent 接触单词: desk-cycle 短语和句型: come up to, pay for, for sale, go/walk over to; What is it for I’m afraid I can’t afford it. 2. 能力目标 (1)掌握并运用购物用语; (2)初步了解如何推销产品。 3. 情感目标 学会正确处理自己的零花钱 重点难点 1. 重点:掌握本课节中的afford与while的用法。 2. 难点:能用英语进行买卖。 教学准备 PPT课件;本课节用到的录音。 授课时数 1课时 教学过程 Step 1 Greeting T: Last class, we learned that Brian’s school’s basketball team is going to play in another city. Do you remember how would they raise money for the school basketball team S1: To sell cookies. T: What about Danny S2: He will invent a new product. T: OK, let’s learn how they sell things. Step 2 Presentation 1. In this lesson we are going to learn some sentences about “selling” and “buying”. At first let’s learn the new words: pocket, desk-cycle, tie, while, afford, cent. pocket / p k t/ tie /ta / v. desk-cycle cent /sent/ n. 口袋;袋子 (用线、绳等)系; / desk sa kl/ n. 分 v. 挣;赚下;赢得 拴;绑;捆;束 n. 自行车桌 (本中丹尼发明的产品名) while /wa l/ conj. 当……的时候;在……期间 afford / f d/ v. 买得起;(有时间)做,能做 2. What is it for 它是做什么用的 for表示“(用途, 意图, 目标, 愿望)对, 供, 适用于……”。此句相当于“What is it used for ” 。 What is the pen(used)for 笔是用来做什么的 It is ( used ) for writing. 它是用来写字的。 4. You can do your homework while you ride your bike. 你可以一边骑自行车一边做作业。 while连词, 意为“当……的时候, 与……同时”, 引导时间状语从句。 My mother was washing clothes while my father was watching TV. 我爸爸在看电视的时候, 我妈妈在洗衣服。 【拓展】while还可以作名词, 意为“一会儿, 一段时间”。 Can I rest for a while 我能休息一会儿吗 5. That’s a very low price for such a great product. 对这么好的一款产品来说, 这个价格很低了。 price名词, 意为“价格”, 在形容价格高或低时用high或low, 而不用expensive 或cheap。若表示某物价格昂贵或便宜, 则用: “物+be + expensive/cheap” 或“ the price of +物+be +high/ low” 。 The price of the coat is too high. I can’t afford it. =The coat is too expensive. I can’t afford it. 这件大衣太贵了, 我买不起。 6. I’m afraid I can’t afford it.我恐怕买不起。 afford动词, 意为“买得起, (有时间)做, 能做”, 通常与can/could/be able to连用, 多用于否定句或疑问句。 afford to do sth.负担得起做某事 We can’t afford to waste a single day.我们连一天也浪费不起。 We cannot afford (to buy) a new car.我们买不起新车。 Step 10 Homework 1.
