Lesson 12：Danny’s Plant
设计说明 首先，通过图片展示与对话相结合的方式，拉近师生之间的距离，活跃课堂气氛，激发学生的学习兴趣，并引出本课时的话题；接着，检查学生对词汇的掌握情况，并进行进一步的巩固练习；然后，通过播放录音，初步掌握短文的内容，再利用Let’s do it!中的练习题对文章内容进行巩固。最后，通过小组合作，使学生将所学内容与生活实际相结合，实现学以致用。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学，学生达成以下目标： 1. 知识目标 掌握单词：yard 接触单词：agriculture, seed, pot, sprout, carefully, stem, bud 短语和句型：at the top of...，a flower bud，look after Now, something new is growing at the top of the stem. Do you like plants Ss: Yes. T: Good. Do you have any plants in your home What are they Ss... T: I also plant some plants. Let’s look at the pictures of them. T: Do you like them Ss: Yes. T: Today we will learn how to grow them. Step 2　Presentation T: In this lesson we are going to learn something about agriculture and growing plants. At first let’s learn the new words. 1. I’m going to look after my plant carefully. 我会细心照顾我的植物。 （1）look after 照顾；照看 My job is to look after these patients. 我的工作就是照顾好这些病人。 （2）carefully副词，意为“仔细地，认真地”，其形容词形式是careful“仔细的”。 Mary often does her homework carefully. 玛丽常常写作业很仔细。 As long as you drive carefully, you will be very safe. 如果你开车小心，你就会很安全。 3.
