Lesson 11: Amazing Plants
设计说明 首先, 通过头脑风暴让学生说出一些植物的名称并思考特殊的植物，从而引入本课的话题。展示本课生词短语，可以借助图片、例句及之前学过的词等来学习，既能减轻学生的记忆负担，又能激发他们的学习兴趣。接下来，设置听力活动，通过给句子排序，让学生初步了解文章脉络。然后进入课文精读环节：设置填表格、判断正误、回答问题等活动，让学生充分理解课文，并能从中提取有效信息解决问题。另外，结合Let’s Do It! No. 3的练习巩固词汇运用。在已有语言储备的基础上，让学生自由讨论一种奇异的植物，强化语言的输出。最后，对重点知识进行总结，适当点拨讲解重难点，并进行课堂练习。 教学目标 通过本课节的教学，学生达成以下目标： 1.知识目标 掌握词汇:eastern, shy 接触词汇:egret, tightly, fossil, southwest, living 短语和句型: eastern Asia, close up, open up, When it comes to…, along with, in the middle of, a living fossil When something touches this plant’s leaves, they close up tightly. Ask some students to say the words of the plants. Give them some time to think about some special plants they have heard about. Step 2　Presentation 1.
