　　A river is a moving stream of water. Usually a river feeds water into an ocean, lake, or even another river. Here are the five longest rivers in the world.
The Nile River The Nile River is about 4,145 miles long. It is in the continent of Africa, mostly in the countries of Egypt and Sudan. It flows north into the Mediterranean Sea.
The Amazon River The Amazon River is about 3,977 miles long. It is in the continent of South America and flows through several countries including Brazil, Venezuela, Bolivia, and Ecuador. It ends at the Atlantic Ocean.
