第1课时 Section B(1a 1d)
教学目标
Learn to talk about different health problems and accidents.Then give the right advice.
教学重点
Learn to deal with health problems and accidents.
教学难点
Learn to give some right advice according to different accidents.
教学用具
A guidance case,a tape recorder and multimedia.
教学步骤
Step 1 Lead in
1.Show the pictures of different health problems.And ask students the questions:
(1)Did these accidents happen to you
(2)When they happen,what should you do
2.Ask students to list more common health problems.Then give the right advice.
Step 2 Cooperative inquiry
1.Show the pictures in 1a,and then ask students to discuss the question:
When these accidents happen,what should you do
Then put the actions in order.And check the answers.
2.Read the content in 1b.Play the recording and let students listen to the school nurse.Check the problems they hear.Then check the answers.
3.Look at the content in 1c.Play the recording again.Let students write the letter of each treatment next to the problems they checked in the chart.Then check the answers.
4.Read the conversation in 1d till fluently.Then let students role play a conversation between the nurse and the teacher.Use the information in 1b and 1c.Then ask one group to act out the conversation.
5.Show the language points,and then talk about the grammar in this lesson.
6.Make a summary of this lesson.And do some exercises to consolidate the key points.
Step 3 Homework
1.Write a short passage about the accidents happened in your P.E.class.
2.Preview the article in 2b.

第2课时 Section B(2a 2e)
教学目标
Master the key words,phrases and sentences of this period.Improve students' reading comprehensive ability.
教学重点
1.Be able to understand the passage and find the main idea.
2.Read the story about accidents.Then practice and master the key phrases and sentences.
教学难点
Be able to understand the passage and find the order of the events.
教学用具
A guidance case,a dictionary and multimedia.
教学步骤
Step 1 Lead in
1.Ask two or three students to read their passages they wrote about the accidents happened in the P.E.class.
2.Then other students give their comments to the passages.And add more accidents and give right advice.
Step 2 Cooperative inquiry
1.Ask students to look at the accidents or problems in 2a.
And ask them whether they had these accidents or problems.Then have students work alone in 2a.
2.Let students look through the passage in 2b to get the main idea.And then read the passage carefully and underline the words they don't know.Look up these words in a dictionary and write down their meanings.
3.Show the language points,and then talk about the grammar in this lesson.
4.Read the statements in 2c and finish the task.Ask students to give their answers.Then show them PPT with right answers to check.
5.Read the passage again and discuss the questions in 2d.Then ask one student of each group to give their answers.Show them PPT to check their answers.
6.Read the passage till fluently.Ask students to put the sentences in the correct order and try to use the sentences in 2e to tell Aron's story to the class.
7.Make a summary of this lesson.And do some exercises to consolidate the key points.

A guidance case and multimedia.
教学步骤
Step 1 Lead in
Discuss the following questions:
What should you do if you find
★a person fall off the second floor
★a person who has stopped breathing
★a person whose leg is bleeding
Step 2 Cooperative inquiry
1.Students imagine they are the school nurses and a student just had an accident or a health problem.Ask them to make notes about what he/she should and shouldn't do.
2.Ask students to write a conversation between the nurse and the student using the notes in 3a.Then ask them to use the questions and phrases in 3b.Ask 2 or 3 groups to act out their conversations.
3.Ask students to write different health problems next to the body parts.Then write more health problems they know of.Finish Self Check 1,and then check the answers.
4.Finish Self Check 2 and 3,and then check the answers.
5.Show the language points,and then talk about the grammar in this lesson.
6.Writing:Talk the key points of writing an essay,and then give students a sample essay.
Step 3 Homework
1.Review the new words and expressions in this unit.
2.Writing an essay based on your actual state.Talk about the things you do to keep fit.
