You can organise it in the following ways: 常接动词-ing形式的动词; 常接不定式的动词; 既可以接动词-ing 形式也可以接动词不定式的动词。 Summary 接动词-ing形式或不定式的动词 1.常接动词-ing形式的动词有: “考虑建议盼原谅, 承认推迟没得想”consider, suggest/advice/recommend, look forward to, excuse/pardon admit, delay/put off, fancy“避免错过继续练, 否认完成就欣赏”avoid, miss, keep/keep on, practice deny, finish, enjoy/appreciate“禁止想象才冒险, 不禁介意准逃亡”forbid, imagine, risk can’t help, mind, allow/permit, escape
2.跟动词不定式作宾语的动词: “决心学会想希望, 拒绝设法愿假装”decide/determine, learn, want, expect/hope/wish refuse, manage, volunteer, pretend“主动答应选计划 同意请求帮一帮”offer, promise, choose, plan agree, ask/beg, help
3.既可以接动词-ing 形式也可以接动词不定式的动词: ① begin, continue, intend, start等词后面跟动词-ing 形式或不定式作宾语意义上差别不大。 ② hate, like, love, prefer等大部分表示“喜欢”或“不喜欢”的动词常跟动词-ing形式,也可以跟动词不定式。 ③ 有些动词后接动词-ing形式或不定式作宾语时是有区别的。如: (短语)动词接动词-ing形式作宾语接不定式作宾语remember记得曾经做过某事记住要做某事forget忘记曾经做过某事忘记要做某事regret为做过某事而感到后悔遗憾(抱歉)要做某事try试着做某事努力去做某事mean意味着做某事打算做某事can’t help忍不住/情不自禁做某事不能帮助做某事go on继续做某事做完一件事后接着做另一件事
目标二:To use the V-ing form and infinitive verbs correctly in specific contexts Activity 1: Complete the text with the correct form of the verbs in brackets. Recently, I've managed 1.to become (become) a more active learner. When I'm reading a book or listening to my teacher, I try 2. to forget (forget) what I've learnt before or what I think about the book or the person giving me the information and practise 3.concentrating (concentrate) on the information itself. At the beginning I found it difficult to do this and I couldn't help 4.questioning (question) the ideas I was reading or hearing. But now I've learnt to avoid 5.listening (listen) to my inner voice all the time and sometimes I even argue with it. On the other hand, I also attempt 6.to ask (ask) as many questions as I can. I ask my teachers a lot of questions and I've noticed that the answers to the questions have really helped me understand the topic a lot better. Activity 2: Group work.
