一般过去时
（1）定义：一般过去时表示过去某一时候或某一段时间所发生了的事情或存在的状态。
--- Where were you last week 上周你在哪儿？
--- I was at my uncle's home in the countryside. （上周）我在乡下的叔叔家。
（2）时间状语（标志词）
yesterday（昨天） this morning（今天早上） last night（昨晚） last week（上个星期）
four days ago（四天前） in 2002（在2002年） just now（刚才） in the past（在过去）
the day before yesterday（前天） once upon a time（从前）等。
（3）动词的过去式的变化规则
①一般情况下，在动词原形后直接ed。
play-played look-looked work-worked
②以e结尾的动词在其后加d。
like -liked use-used live -lived hope-hoped
③以辅音字母加y结尾的动词，把y变成i 再加ed。
study-studied carry - carried marry-married
④以重读闭音节结尾的动词，如果末尾只有一个辅音字母，双写这个辅音字母，再加ed。
stop -stopped plan-planned shop-shopped
句型转换
1.be动词的一般过去时态 (was / were)
(1)肯定句：主语+was(were)+宾语
I was late yesterday. (昨天我迟到了。)
(2)否定句：主语+was(were)+not+宾语
We weren’t late yesterday. (我们昨天没迟到。)
(3)疑问句：Was(Were)+主语+宾语
Were you late yesterday (你昨天生病了吗 )
肯定回答：Yes, I was. (是的，我生病了。) 否定回答：No, I wasn't. (不，我没生病。)
(4)特殊疑问句：特殊疑问词+was(were)+主语+宾语
When were you at school 你什么时候在学校
2.实义动词的一般过去时态（无情无be，借助动词，借助还原）
(1)肯定句：主语+动词过去式+宾语
I ate an ice cream yesterday. (我昨天吃了一个冰淇淋。)
(2)否定句：主语+didn't+动词原形+宾语
I didn’t eat an ice cream yesterday. (我昨天没吃冰淇淋。)
(3)一般疑问句：Did+主语+动词原形+宾语
Did you eat an ice cream yesterday (你昨天吃冰淇淋了吗 )
肯定回答：Yes, I did，(是的，我吃了。) 否定回答：I didn’t. (不，我没吃。)
(4)特殊疑问句：特殊疑问词+did+主语+宾语
Where did you go last night (昨天晚上你去哪里了 )
I went shopping with my friends. (我和朋友购物去了。)
