含义 用法
high 高的 形容山峰、建筑物等,表示某物高出地面的距离, 其反义词是low
tall 高的 形容人,表示某物或某人从顶部到底部的距离, 其反义词是short
2.ago作副词,意为“以前”,常用结构“时间段+ago”表示过去的时间,意为“……(时间段)以前”,如:a week ago“一周前”、three days ago“三天前”、a moment ago“刚才”、long long ago“很久很久以前”、 an hour ago“一小时前”等。
3.India是专有名词,意为“印度”。Indian作形容词,意为“印度的;印度人的;印第安人的”;作名词,意为“印度人;印第安人;印第安语”。Indian意为“印度人;印第安人”时,复数形式是Indians。
4.wake作动词,意为“醒;弄醒;唤醒”,它的过去式是woke。wake up...意为“把……弄醒”,如:
