8. Understand the importance of clear communication when giving or receiving directions.
II. Key Vocabulary:
- Prepositions of location (near, across from, next to, opposite, between)
- Street names and landmarks (museums, parks, squares, etc.)
- Verbs for movement (walk, turn, continue, cross, take)
- Directions (left, right, straight, up, down)
- Modes of transportation (bus, subway, taxi, train)
- Polite phrases (Excuse me, thank you, you're welcome)
- Phrasal verbs for getting around (get off, get on, take a turn)
III. Target Language Structures:
- Questions for asking directions ('Could you tell me how to get to... ' 'Is it far from here ')
