学情分析
本本单元是人教版英语(三年级起点)六年级下册第一单元,本单元学习的主题是“How tall are you”。本单元重点围绕单元主题一谈论身高"和体重"展开教学。本单元学习的主题是运用形容词比较级描述人或动物的外貌特征,理解形容词比较级的基本构成和形容词比较级所表达的意义,本单元所需要掌握的词汇younger, older, shorter, longer,taller , smaller, bigger, heavier, stronger , thinner这些比较级单词的原形,在四年级、五年级的教材中已经学过。本单元所需要掌握的句型在前面的教材中没有集中涉及到,但是询问年龄的句型How old are you I'm ..years old.在三年级上册教材中已经学过。这个句型的表达对本单元的教学有一定的帮助。通过学习本单元知识,加强与他人的了解与沟通,学会比较身高、体重等特征。
二、单元整体设计思路
围绕单元主题,深挖各课时话题。本单元要学习的核心词汇younger, older, shorter, longer,taller , smaller, bigger, heavier, stronger , thinner等 。在单元主题意义的引领下,以“How tall are you” 为主题,教师要注意设计生活化,充分利用教材已经设定的情境开展活动,帮助学生在合作学习中和任务型学习中正确表达所学句型。语篇核心词汇核心句型学习内容学习时长学习目标A learnyounger, older, shorter, longer, taller ,-How tall are you -How old are you A + be +比较级 + than + B 学习形容词的比较级, 问答身高年龄并进行比较的句型1课时学习核心词汇的音形义, 会用所学词汇和句型问答身高年龄并进行比较A talktallest, hall, metre, than, dinosaur, both ,1. 本节课是对话篇, 本课时的主题意义是通过Wu Binbin和Mike去买鞋子时的对话,通过谈论鞋码体重的问题, 作出相应的比较, 了解中国和美国鞋码的区别。在Practice环节通过问答调查他人的体重和鞋码等, 掌握句型的运用。从而激发学生在真实的语言情境中来询问体重鞋码等。让学生感知本节课句型的语义及语用情景。要求学生在语境中能熟练运用比较句型“A + be +比较级 + than + B”进行相应的比较。
教学过程
