1.Let me tell you what he looks like. 让我告诉你他长什么样子。
句中包含一个let开头的祈使句,常用结构为let+sb.+do sth.,意为“让某人做某事”。如:
Let me have a look.让我看看。
Let me show you the way.让我给你带路。
2.I like him because he is really cool and fun, and he is good at soccer. 我喜欢他是因为他真的很酷还很有趣,而且他还擅长(踢)足球。
句中because引导的是原因状语从句,用来说明喜欢的理由。be good at...意为“擅长(做)……”。如:
I know her well because she’s my teacher, and she is my good friend. 我很了解她,因为她不但是我的老师,也是我的好朋友。
My friend John is good at telling jokes.我的朋友John擅长讲笑话。
