谈论如何去某地
教材分析
在本单元中,学生主要学习how引导的特殊疑问句询问如何去某地的表达方式及其答语;学习一般现在时。通过本单元的学习,学生要能正确描述人们日常出行的主要方式。
Section A(1a~2e)通过谈论图片中人物的出行方式来学习“How... ”和“I take the bus./I get to school by...”等句型;通过听力训练和口语训练巩固本单元的词汇和句型,并引入数字的表达法;通过听力训练引出“How far.../How long...”句型及其答语,并对目标语言进行训练。
Section A(Grammar Focus~3c)通过配对和调查自己及他人的日常出行工具及相关信息,如距离、所需时长等来巩固目标语言。
Section B(1a~1e)主要训练学生听的能力。通过听力训练引出“换乘”的概念,并通过听力训练练习讨论到达目的地的功能句。
Section B(2a~2c)重在培养学生的综合阅读理解能力,并通过对话填空的方式来加强学生对阅读内容的理解。
Section B(3a~Self Check)主要是复习本单元的重要知识点,并要求学生学会写一封谈论个人日常出行的邮件。

教学建议
1.本单元通过谈论“如何去某地”展开教学,学习交通工具名词及乘车方式。为了激发学生学习英语的兴趣,教师在教学中可以利用PPT、简笔画或实物玩具等展示这些名词,并让学生在句子中反复使用它们,达到巩固的目的。
2.本单元涉及介词by表示乘车方式,并且动词take和ride也表示乘坐交通工具。教师在教学中可以让学生通过观察,发现其运用规律,并通过句型训练不断巩固,从而夯实基础。让学生在具体的情景中体会句型及词汇的用法。
3.本单元涉及的话题和学生的日常生活联系密切,因此,教师可以采用合作、问答的形式进行教学。让学生以小组形式互相询问:How do you get to school How does your father/mother/brother...go to work How long does it take you/your father...go to work How far is it from your home to school/the station/... 在互相问答的过程中,不但激发了学生
学习的兴趣,而且有效地加深了学生对知识的理解并有助于记忆。同时可以让学生整理自己小组的对话并形成短文展示给全班同学,从而提高学生的写作能力。
