单元话题 志愿服务与慈善活动
教 材 分 析   本单元是人教版八年级英语下册第二单元,包括四个板块的内容( Section A、Grammar Focus、Section B和Self Check)。 这四个板块基本上都围绕着“志愿服务与慈善活动”这一话题展开,通过谈论志愿活动和提供帮助,学生能掌握动词不定式、情态动词could用来表示建议和一些提供帮助的动词短语的用法。通过创设情景,小组合作,模仿训练,归纳总结以及两篇阅读文章,引导学生积极参与志愿活动,学会关注社会、关注他人,鼓励他们从现在做起,从小事做起,投身于社会公益事业,成为一个有爱心的公民。
教 材 分 析   Section A
该部分有3个模块:第一模块围绕“I'll help to clean up the city parks.”话题展开la内容、进行听力训练(1b)和口语训练(1c); 第二模块围绕“城市公园清洁日”,进行听力训练(2a~2b) 和口语训练(2c~2d)。第三模块就“Students Who Volunteer”这一话题展开阅读技能及语言学习的综合训练(3a~3b) ,并就动词不定式的用法进行训练(3c)。

对所学语言结构进行总结,包括本单元的重要知识点——动词不定式(作宾语、状语及宾语补足语)、情态动词could表建议及动词短语的用法。

该部分有4个模块: 第一模块是进行同义句匹配(1a),动词短语和名词匹配并造句(1b);第二模块讲述自行车男孩Jimmy的故事,进行听力训练(1c~1d)并就听力内容进行口语训练(1e); 第三模块通过2a中提出的一个问题,引导学生讨论:你通常怎样感谢帮助你的人 并通过一封书信表达了Ben Smith对Miss Li的感激;该模块还根据阅读材料设计了配套的练习(2c~2e),使学生能更好地掌握这部分内容。第四模块通过讨论你愿意做什么志愿者工作,引导学生展开写作训练(3a~3b)。这部分的设计理念是提高学生的书面表达能力及语言组织能力,拓展学生的想象力。
