单元话题 家务琐事与许可
教 材 分 析 本单元是人教版八年级英语下册第三单元,包括四个板块的内容( Section A、Grammar Focus、Section B和Self Check)。 这四个板块基本上都围绕着“家务琐事与许可”这一话题展开,从家务琐事、家庭互助、征求许可等方面分别阐述了与家庭与生活相关的内容。本单元结合学生亲身经历设计活动,学习用情态动词could有礼貌地提出要求和征求许可。这一话题非常贴近学生的实际生活,容易激发学生的学习兴趣。因此在教学过程中,教师应充分调动学生的积极性,鼓励他们大胆开口,同时引导学生了解有关国内外孩子做家务的相关情况。
教 材 分 析 Section A
该部分有3个模块:第一模块围绕“Could you please clean your room ”这一话题展开1a内容,进行听力训练(1b)和口语训练(1c); 第二模块的内容从“是否能做四件事”拓展到“给出原因”,并进行听力训练(2a~2b) 和口语训练(2c~2d);第三模块就“家务琐事”这一话题展开阅读技能提升及语言学习的综合训练(3a~3b),并就词性的转化进行训练(3c)。
Grammar Focus
对所学语言结构进行总结,包括对本单元的重要知识点——用情态动词could礼貌地提出要求和委婉地征求许可,以及在这两种情况下的合理应答。
教 材 分 析 Section B
该部分有4个模块: 第一模块要求根据日常生活中的对话,分析下面的几句话哪些是青少年请求他们的父母亲允许他们做的,哪些是父母要求他们做的(1a),并用所给短语编对话(1b);第二模块通过Sandy和妈妈的对话,进行听力训练(1c~1d)并就听力内容进行口语训练(1e); 第三模块通过2a 中提出的两个问题——你在家经常帮助你的父母做什么 你认为孩子们在家应该帮忙做家务吗 引导学生思考,该模块还根据阅读材料设计了配套的练习(2c~2e),使学生能更好地掌握这部分内容;第四模块以学生是否应该在家做家务为题,引导学生展开写作训练(3a~3b)。这部分的设计理念是在训练学生口语交际能力的基础上,提高学生的书面表达能力及语言组织能力,拓展学生的想象力。

该部分有3个模块:第一模块用所给动词列出家务劳动的名称,训练所学的家务劳动短语;第二模块把请求和许可分类,从而让学生掌握情态动词could的用法;第三模块用模块二中的问题编写一段对话。

(1)two hours of意为“两个小时的”,是由of 构成的名词所有格,相当于two hours'。如:
