same意为“相同的”,在same 前常用the,the same可以单独作表语 。如:
These two dresses look the same.
different意为“不同的;有差异的”, 可以单独作表语。如:
The room looks different without the furniture.

与大多数形容词不同的是,different可以用any,no,(a) little,not much等来修饰。如:
The young man looks little/no different after so many years.

注意:
as也可引导句子。如:

Who is a greener consumer
Mr. Black and Mr. Brown are both 32 years old. Mr. Black is 75kg and Mr. Brown is 84kg. Their cars are AF626. Mr. Black uses 30 litres of petrol a week, while Mr. Brown uses 50 litres of petrol a week. They both uses 2,000 litres water a week. Mr. Black throws away 4kg rubbish a week, but Mr. Brown throws away 9kg rubbish a week. So Mr. Black is a greener consumer.
I think using less water as well as petrol and making less rubbish are helpful for us to be green.
