be used to doing sth. /( be used to sth. ) 习惯做某事/ 习惯于…可用于现在、过去、将来等多种时态 He is used to getting up early. 他习惯于早起床。I am used to the hot weather.我习惯于热天气。
be used to do sth. 被用于做某事是被动语态, 不定式表示目的用于多种时态 Wood is used to make paper. 木材被用来造纸。
2.used to过去常做某事 的 肯定、否定、疑问句式:
①肯定句：
sb. used to do sth.
如：I used to wear glasses. 我过去常常戴眼镜。
②否定句：
第一种：sb. didn’t use to do sth. ( 把used当作实义动词，变否定句要用助动词did )
如：I didn’t use to wear glasses. 我过去常常不戴眼镜。
第二种：sb. used not to do sth. (把used当作情态动词，变否定句直接在used后面加not)
( used not可以缩写成 usedn’t或usen’t )
如：I used not to wear glasses. 我过去常常不戴眼镜。
③一般疑问句：
第一种：Did sb. use to do sth.？
如：Did you use to wear glasses 你过去常常戴眼镜吗？
Yes, I did. / No, I didn’t.
第二种：Used sb. to do sth.？
如：Used you to wear glasses 你过去常常戴眼镜吗？
Yes, I used to. / No, I usedn't to.
④反义疑问句：
sb. used to do sth, didn’t +主语？ / usedn't +主语？
如：He used to wear glasses, didn’t he / usedn't he 他过去常常戴眼镜，难道不是吗？
⑤There used to be: 过去经常有
There used to be a lot of teachers in the school. 过去经常有许多老师在学校。
⑥特殊疑问句：
特殊疑问词+ did sb. use to do sth.？

3.反义疑问句遵循原则：前肯后否，前否后肯　　
①肯定陈述句+否定提问 如：Lily is a student, isn't she

④陈述句中含有否定意义的词， 如：little, few, never, nothing, hardly等，其反意疑问句用肯定式

I had a lot of time to play before, but now nearly all my time is spent on study and homework. I used to watch cartoons, but now I prefer news and English programs. Generally speaking, things turn better. Now, I am interested in reading and writing. I think that the more good books I read, the more knowledge I get.
The biggest change in my life was that I began to love sports at the age of ten. This is the most important change. Because I didn’t use to play sports after school. When I was ten years old, I often fell ill. So my parents encouraged me to play sports after school. Now I’m really interested in sports and I’m much healthier.
